He had the misfortune of being signed to Syco who put zero effort into artists after the first album. Great to see his resurgence on a new label.

I just hope that the obviously inauthentic fluctuation this week doesn't get it reset.

Well at least now there is some hope that the boost was short-lived enough that it won't be enough for a reset (especially as it was obviously only confined to Spotify).

I know the Auto-Play thing has been discussed and all that, but I really don't understand the very short-lived resurrection of Heat Waves.

 

I mean... what was the point of that?

It was probably just a quirk with the algorithm, I highly doubt anyone made the conscious decision to specifically force 'Heat Waves' on everyone way more for a few days.

 

Wow at 'See You Again' now being top 40. It never charted here before, wonder if it'll get a reset at some point to make a belated appearance.
