A question that has been going around the forums lately with the release of "Miracle", what is Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding's Best Collaboration Together? Well here is a short survivor to decide, vote for your favourite.

 

Well in the last round (The 3rd place playoff) it was obvious which entry was leaving the competition. It was their 2014 collaboration "Outside" albeit being their best-selling.

Taken as the 4th Single from Calvin's 4th studio album "Motion", "Outside" did not have as high a peak as "I Need Your Love" and is their lowest peaking collaboration (Peaking at #6). However it is their best selling collaboration, outselling the latter by over 260K. It is also their longest running collaboration on the charts, accumulating a huge 32 weeks on the chart. It ranks at Calvin's 11th best-selling song and Ellie's 5th best-selling song.

 

 

That means only two remain "I Need Your Love" and "Miracle" but which one will snatch the non-existent crown...

Taken as the 7th Single from Calvin's 3rd studio album "18 Months" this was a solid top 5 hit, eventually peaking at #4 in April 2013. It also had the 2nd longest chart run for a song off of that album, just behind "Drinking From The Bottle" with Tinie Tempah. As of June 2021 it is Calvin's 14th best-selling song (The 2nd best-selling song from 18 Months) and as of July 2020 it is Ellie's 6th best-selling song.

 

 

 

 

Miracle (2023)

Released just over one week ago "Miracle" has proven to become Calvin and Ellie's highest charting collaboration, peaking at #3 so far. It sees a departure from their usual collab sound of EDM-Pop to more Trance-influenced production.

Now that I've heard 'Miracle' a few more times since the first thread and it's grown on me I have switched my vote to that :magic:

Much as I am loving 'Miracle', 'I Need Your Love' is just a classic for me and I'm not sure it'll overtake it.

Still I need your love for me but give it a year my opinion might change.

I love Miracle but still prefer I Need Your Love. :D
