Calvin Harris & Ellie Goulding look to remain at #1 for a second week with Miracle, challenged by Drake's latest single Search & Rescue. This week's new releases include Labrinth's Never Felt So Alone featuring vocals from Billie Eilish, plus singles from David Guetta/Anne-Marie/Coi Leray, Jonas Brothers, Agust D/IU, Asake and Oliver Heldens/Kylie Minogue

Ellie Goulding is in the running for her fourth #1 album with Higher Than Heaven, meanwhile NF drops with his fifth studio album HOPE and Linkin Park's Meteora receives a 20th Anniversary reissue. Further new releases include the return of Daughter with Stereo Mind Game, plus albums from Wednesday, Yaeji, Billie Marten, Teleman, Tim Hecker, HMLTD, Rae Sremmurd and Daniel Caesar

Breakdown of the week

- Saturday: Some information may be posted on social media but it is likely to be missing most streaming data and is unrepresentative.

- Sunday: Official First Look Chart on Radio 1 from 6-7pm. Please do not post spoilers on the forum in advance as this ruins the countdown for any listeners.

- Monday: OCC Top 100 from 5:45pm

- Tuesday: Top 40 update as and when we receive them with requests, this is NOT 100% guaranteed however. The OCC may publish sales flashes of their own accord but likewise, this is not guaranteed. Twitter and social media is your friend for today. Please post any information you find with a source. Do not nag for updates, we will post a top 40 update if we receive one.

- Wednesday: Top 40 update from Music Week from 5:45, and potential top 5 sales but this is not guaranteed.

- Thursday: See Tuesday.

Other notes (please read)

- You may make requests Tuesday to Thursday but outside the top 40, specific positions will not be revealed (unless deemed necessary by a mod).

- Please do not demand a midweek update, one will be posted as and when we receive the information. Patience is a virtue.

- Sales information will be given out as deemed necessary by a moderator, please bear this in mind when making requests. Most requests for sales will be ignored. Any chart requests between No. 41 to 100 will not be answered after Monday's update.

- To keep everyone in the loop of all chart action, please refer to the iTunes and Spotify threads.

Drake only #7 in shingles? And Libiana #2, all reads a bit strange

looking for ward to see the figures in albums but looks good for Ellie

also nice to see Daughter at #4 in albums even if they will fall for sure

Drake only #7 in shingles? And Libiana #2, all reads a bit strange

Libianca wasn't far behind Ed in last week's chart so she's overtaken him, and Miley's gone to ACR, so #2 doesn't seem that strange to me?

I did expect Drake to be higher but I can imagine him climbing by the end of the week.

Ellie Goulding maybe doing the chart double in 2023. Who woulda thought, eh?

If Drake "only" enters at No.7 then :cheer:

Miley top 5 despite ACR :cheeseblock:

Pull through Zara and remain top 25!

I actually had a feeling Drake might come through lower than expected as he seems to get a relatively high proportion of free streams. Remember when he had those enormous Spotify numbers with Girls Wants Girls etc and the chart sales were pretty modest.

oh didn't realise Flowers was on ACR

Drake should be #2 based on Spotify alone but I guess he could have more free streams than others + doing zero on Amazon doesn't help

Why does the update on the OCC website say “Us Against the World” is a new entry at #35?
