Mine too if that's a correct figure. It's felt like she's been over for a while now so to see her on course for the double is surprising to say the least.
Been saying this for while yes she might have been over in terms of impact on charts but she has never lost her overall popularity, never left top 100 artists on Spotify. Easy Lover didn't make a dent but is on 30,000 streams which is more than some top 10s get here. Her popularity worldwide is more than most current artists (UK artists?

Ellie has a decent sized loyal fanbase who will buy many many physicals.

That’s pretty good for Ellie seeing as her previous album only opened with 14k

Not to quite the same extent with her last album though.

Taken from a reliable sauce? If so, that's amazing.

Which sauces are reliable is subjective. For example I don't like ketchup whereas many people find it a reliable accompaniment for chips...

El Floppage from Drake! Libianca at #2! Yesssss.

Can GGG just PISS off though. And that Guetta thing in the top 40, just no.

Maybe it’s just a better album?

That's entirely subjective, but she's definitely gone all out with it multi-formsts, months of pre-orders, signings etc. which she definitely didn't with the last one.

If any Guetta songs should piss off out of the top 40, it should be I’m Good. BDHM which is fresh needs to be a hit and I’m Good has past its sell-by date

Or maybe, on the upside, if this can not be a hit it might stop him desecrating 90s classics.

One could argue neither ever sounded particularly "fresh" given how much they rely on interpolation of 90s hits :kink:
As for desecrating 90s dance classics, Guetta wasn’t the first person to desecrate Blue (Da Ba Dee), his friend Flo Rida did that back in 2009

That makes it OK then.

But more to the point, what did poor Haddaway do to deserve this?

He didn’t do anything. Even though I like the new versions, they will never be a patch on the originals. Whenever I hear a sample of a classic, it makes me wanna listen to the original and I end up appreciating the originals
