We’ve not had one of these for a while! The #1 next week is looking pretty unclear, what do you think it’ll be?

Agust D is Suga from BTS, his mixtape got to #7 in 2020 but this is his debut solo album.

Think it will be the 1975 cos Taylor is limited to 10K only

Ideally it would be EBTG cos they're amazing but they have never been big album sellers

Yeah I do reckon The Highlights might get there eventually on a quiet week, it doesn’t look like it’ll be anytime in the coming weeks though.
I guess if The 1975 have 15k copies that'll probably get them there. Before its sales drop to basically 0 a week later of course.
Taylor album question: she's had 7 UK #1 albums and 2 re-releases (Red and Fearless). So for stats purposes, is it counted as 9 or 7?

9. Taylor's Version releases are counted separate, they're not quite re-releases but entire re-recordings. (also it'd be 8 if you discounted Red (Taylor's Version) as the original Fearless didn't make #1)

Imagine how confused the BTS fans will be if The 1975 are not on iTunes where they focus all their efforts when the first mids come out
just checked and Enter Shikari is not a bad call, their last album opened with 11.6K in April 20 so if they retained the fanabse now with the multiformating they could do more, just checked and they have a lot of vinyls out, lots of color variants

IIRC their 2020 album already had a lot of different versions though, it’s been a big chart thing for a fair amount of years now.

The week after is looking fairly unclear too, with releases from:

The Damned – Darkadelic

Freya Ridings - Blood Orange

Jessie Ware - That! Feels Good!

Labrinth - Ends & Begins

The Lottery Winners - Anxiety Replacement Therapy

The National - First Two Pages Of Frankenstein

Shakin' Stevens – Re-set

Tom Meighan (former Kasabian frontman) - The Reckoning

I imagine one of them will get to the top, but I can't really predict who!

^100% The National :D maybe I'm biased :D

I'm fairly certain The National will get it, with Jessie and Freya making up the rest of the top 3. Although maybe Tom Meighan also in the top 5?

I need to think about next week though...
