I genuinely love this song. I mean I'm biased being such a fan of the group, but I think she's done a great job with this, it's not the obvious explosive debut single you'd expect from a girlband member, nor is it the R&B single people expected her to release right away. I hope it hangs on throughout summer in the charts and gradually climbs.

I mean there could be quite a few CDs to be reported - the figure hasn’t updated since Mondays mids and they have been promoting them this week so they could all be reported today?

I think that must have been based on yesterday when she was #8 and may have thought there was a chance.

I'm hoping dome last minute cds shipped today that msy result in her getting that top 10 tomorrow. I'm hoping she can at least go top 20 here in Ireland aswell tomorrow.

Yes the video with the ASH dancers is so lovely and cute. I'm sure it counts towards her streams anyway.

Despite her over-explaining, I still like that her first solo video tells a story of her re-birth. Sensible, I would even say.

And I'd hate it if this debuts at number 11. I hate that chart position with every fibre of my being lol.
Odd for it to drop yesterday though, someone mentioned throwback thursday but is that really a thing?

I expected a drop, albeit I did expect a bit more of a Throwback Thursday effect to have caused it (it certainly does have an effect at times I believe - but this weeks was a "Glastonbury Headliners" special I think so it wasn't quite as broad as it usually is). Glastonbury is this weekend isn't it? That may delay the re-entry into the Spotify top 200 for a while then (kinda expecting Glasto coverage to be big this year on streaming and idk why)... ffs :lol: It needs to recover this week. The 2nd week is usually the point (and the hardest part) where we should be able to tell whether it'll be a hit on streaming (if and where it re-enters, how far it manages to get before the weekend effect (yes it's a thing lol) etc..)

 

I am still quite hopeful (probably to the annoyance of many here - I apologise :P) and relying on it stabilising in a couple of weeks. So fingers crossed!
