October 23, 20231 yr She's really growing on me 😭 Yeah, same. It was actually nice seeing her outside of her usual group and interacting with the others like Trish and Noky!
October 23, 20231 yr Author I’m enjoying this task! Actually finding it funny big brother calling themselves ‘bug brother’. Paul is such a twat, hope he is up. Olivia was better this episode. I really like Noky, she seems nice. I hope Trish is safe, she seems like a great person, it was sad her talking about her dad.
October 23, 20231 yr Author Also this love triangle?! I’m so invested. Poor Henry, also it’s clear Matty is trying to hint to just being friends with Jordan but there is flirting.
October 23, 20231 yr My friend is adamant that Dylan's going to win :drama: :drama: Nah I can't see it, he isn't likeable when he does speak and he seems to be mostly disliked by casuals. He might skate by because he's a bit quieter/less shown but I highly doubt he will come close to winning.
October 23, 20231 yr My friend is adamant that Dylan's going to win :drama: :drama: Not a hope. I don't think he will get enough nominations to be up for an eviction and will probably make the final but will be first out on the night of the final. Noky I'm liking less and less, I feel she thinks she's better than everyone and she has a habit of making everything about her regardless of whether it's related to her or not. Olivia has grown on me a bit or maybe it's I hate her less than I used to, trish grows on me and more with each episode and Paul is just a complete waste of space he literally adds nothing to the show for me.
October 24, 20231 yr That Trish incident was really uncomfortable to watch. Her getting the blame for something Olivia started? Trish handled that amazingly and I'm sorry but Noky was absolutely correct too and Paul just launched himself in a situation all guns blazing and turned a dispute into a full on argument... like... it wasn't that serious?? Olivia called for the house to decide on something, Noky said her piece and Dylan & Paul just got really defensive lmao. I'm sensing Trish vs Paul if it's a single eviction this week and that's going to piss me off coz Paul will probably end up staying... FFS!
October 24, 20231 yr I worry Trish will go and that is absolutely racism, idc. She hasn’t been aggressive or confrontational, she is opinionated but in a way that is just passionate about social issues. She hasn’t really preached and I think it’s gross that STILL in this day and age a black woman can hardly have an opinion without being in the wrong? To say she’s scary or confrontational just because she makes points of conversation that are deeper than primary school level is bizarre and veering directly into being micro-aggressions. Even last night, Olivia is the one who actually made the comment (and she was joking too) yet Trish gets the flack for it from all these dull privileged people who have never really had to think about such issues or lack the brain cells to do so. I personally don’t really see why the comment needed to be made, but Dylan and Chanelle were ridiculous reacting to it when Olivia was jokey and Trish made a calm point.
October 24, 20231 yr I’m catching up and I really don’t like how they treated Trish on last nights episode , it was Olivia who said the sexist comment (which wasn’t that deep in the first place) but Trish got the brunt of it. Seeing the convo with her and Noky and how upset she was and also it being her Dad’s Birthday who passed also it was quite sad to watch . I loved how Noky consoled her and there probably my two favourites at the moment . Edited October 24, 20231 yr by troylovesmusic
October 24, 20231 yr A couple of things; Olivia's really growing on me. I like how spirited she is. I really hope she doesn't go back to just hanging around with Kerry and co now she's made up with Paul. FUN HALLIE! I haven't enjoyed watching her this much since the first week.
October 24, 20231 yr A lot of the house is severely immature, I’d be fuming if they were in a place where I’m trying to sleep being immature as f*** Like there is an entire house to piss around in and you’re there doing it in a communal bedroom where people are trying to sleep or chill out. I am finding Hallie and Olivia more entertaining now but I do hope they don’t get dragged back into Paul’s shite, I’m praying he goes next. I think it shows in how Noky is being treated too, they’re acting like she’s an alien or some master game player because people like Paul especially are too immature to have conversations about anything real that requires more than 2 brain cells  I do think Olivia is more wary of Paul now and she has a good balance of being fun and enjoying the experience but still actually having conversations that need to be had when they come up. I know Jenkin isn’t entertaining it people are being quite nasty on Twitter. I know damn well half these flags sat on Twitter, who say they’d kill to be in there, saying half the house is boring would be exactly the same in that house lmao
October 24, 20231 yr Fantastic episode. But if I had to summarize one housemate.. Jenkin - hot and miserable. He’s returning to the insufferable housemate he was those first few days. He needs to tone that down because I definitely would prefer Paul going first.
October 24, 20231 yr So Yinruin’s nomination votes have been revoked as well which is fair enough but why wasn’t this done last week with Hallie and Olivia’s last week when they talked about nominations in code ??? We would of had a whole group of them up for the vote last week if that happened with Kerry likely going and Zak still in there ! Edited October 24, 20231 yr by troylovesmusic
October 25, 20231 yr So Yinruin’s nomination votes have been revoked as well which is fair enough but why wasn’t this done last week with Hallie and Olivia’s last week when they talked about nominations in code ??? We would of had a whole group of them up for the vote last week if that happened with Kerry likely going and Zak still in there ! I can only assume there's the possibility they've listened to the reaction about the punishment for Hallie and Olivia not being severe enough and acted to rectify that (not that they should've needed nudging in the first place - it's starting to feel like these producers have a blank Big Brother handbook and haven't taken any notes from the previous eras regarding certain elements). I'm still really loving the series, but there are a few things annoying me. I found it really awkward the other night when they showed Jordan and Matty having a conversation on the sofa and proceeded to show every move Henry made at the time, waiting around like a lost puppy. Both Henry himself and the very clearly forced and contrived editing in that moment just made me cringe. Fair enough it's clear to see that Jordan and Henry do get along extremely well and there may well be something there, but please don't make us sit through another few weeks of Henry becoming miserable or at a loose end whenever Jordan decides to speak to somebody else in the house. Dylan during the argument in the iamspamspamamiwith Trish... jeez. He's really coming across like a very manipulative man that loves to make a woman feel silly and turn everything around on them as if they were the problem the whole time, passing the whole thing off as banter afterwards when he's had his opportunity to lash out. Definitely not liking him much at all at the moment. Olivia... I still cannot abide her. I'm not sure if it's just because she's constantly just so loud all of the time and the way she speaks in general is just sounding so fake? I understand to an extent that sometimes Scottish people need to speak more 'proper' to be understood by a UK audience, but she absolutely will not speak the way she is when she's at home in Glasgow, that's for sure. I want to see her just be part of a conversation or what's going on in the house without jumping around constantly screaming for airtime with mad, random acts. I haven't been following the live feed, so - potential unpopular opinion - I'm not entirely sure of everything Paul's been up to, but aside from his ridiculous out-of-nowhere beef with Noky I'm not really seeing the horrible, vile person everybody else is? He's certainly livened up in the past few days (albeit not always in the best way) and developed a smidge of a personality. I'd like to think that if he ends up surviving another couple of evictions and it comes down to it he can do something other than stand there and think the camera's going to be watching him with his top off all the time, or thinking farting on someone is the height of exceptional humour (:puke2:). Taking him at face value what I'm seeing on the main show, he's certainly not as bad as Kerry remains for me... yet.
October 25, 20231 yr Apparently... @1717143079830917523 I don't know how reliable the above is, but hope for Paul potentially being up :D
October 25, 20231 yr I’d like smoky to go next I think, she doesn’t add anything *Noky And I think she adds plenty! She is genuine, listens to everyone and just has a big heart. Not everyone needs to be as loud or as in your face, I think she has a good heart and creates a good balance. Would be a huuuuge shame if we lost her imo!
