20-60 is a big big fall though, don’t follow as closely as I used to but it certainly seems out of the ordinary. Did he benefit from some kind of auto play (payola) thing?

All of his songs had big climbs yesterday, then big falls today. I doubt he would have got autoplay boosts for a single day for his entire album so I'm not really sure what happened but pretty sure yesterday was the anomaly, not today. (Although having said that, 'Boat' has dropped to a much lower position than it was at before the boost yesterday)

 

Interesting to see Eurovision songs actually climbing the day after the semi-final boost. Think Loreen has a very good chance of getting a second top 10 hit next week.

Sam Ryder went #2 with 61k (including 22k downloads and 1k CDs) last year. I don't expect Mae Muller will sell that much, but the bar for #1 is a LOT lower at the moment - Calvin's only done 41k last week

I think she will be well up there - I’m expecting her to end up at #3, although there are 7 versions/mixes available so should all see a download and streaming boost today and tomorrow which could nudge her closer.

 

The CD is priced at £3.99 so won’t encourage impulse sales.

#7 on Amazon Music too. I think she has a chance if she does well tonight.

The semis were on Tuesday and Thursday and the running order of the final is now known so people are seeking out the finalists.

Its odd nothing from Semi Final 2 has made an appearance... but I guess Semi Final 1 was a lot stronger

Loreen, Kaarija and Alessandra are well ahead of the rest of the competition in terms of overall streaming numbers anyhow so have more natural momentum too.

 

The official playlist has those three and Mae Muller as the top 4 songs too. If a load of people just stick that playlist on today we could be expecting Tvorchi, Teya/Salena, La Zarra, Vesna, Noa Kirel to all appear in tomorrow's update.

 

Then from tomorrow it depends a bit more on how the songs perform in the final as Spotify are likely to rearrange the playlist to match the official ranking (they've already rearranged it to plonk all the NQs at the bottom).
