It's already doing well for the second post-album single to be fair

She just tends to choose terrible singles, the album has much better to offer than that song

Hopefully Kylie is added to Hot Hits UK this week - it could become a decent sized hit with longevity!

Happy to see Beyoncé & Kendrick continuing to climb. Hoping it'll manage to go top 10 in the charts at some point in the next few weeks! Her London/O2 dates start Monday next week, so could see her album/discography getting a boost from those!

It was announced as a single weeks ago its actually about time she started doing something with it to give it that final push

I like Karma and I think it is definitely a strong single choice! If it shines as a single of its own, it will be great.
Our days of worrying about Ed domination are in the past B-)

You do realise his current hit was no1 and has been top 10 for 8 weeks?

And well done to him but nothing else from the album made the top 10 so I’m not expecting a random single to take the charts by storm suddenly. If anything he’s contributing to his own downfall with this oversaturation, he needs a break

2 of them went top 20 with little promotion so can't rule him out completely,

Although it's a soundtrack to a TV show song so don't see it lighting the charts on fire

I pray for the 'Karma' remix to tank pls x (sadly can see it being quite big though -_-)

Don't think the other two 'new' songs are likely to do much, would be nice if 'Snow On The Beach' can nab a top 100 re-entry though. The belated streaming releases of the physical exclusive bonus tracks from 'folklore' and 'evermore' didn't do anything chartwise, don't think they even charted in the US - although 'the lakes' did eventually get a top 100 peak here with its Record Store Day physical release.

It will probably make n appearance on Spotify and then quickly drop away after two days.

3 new Taylor songs on Friday, a Karma remix, Snow on the Beach with more Lana and track that has been a target/HMV CD exclusive up until now. Hopefully they kick Anti-Hero out of the chart even if it is just for a week
OMG! We're FINALLY getting 'Hits Different' (on streaming)???

:cheeseblock: :cheeseblock:

Curtain little promotion? Oh my God, they Ed defenders need a reality check, maybe you live in al alt universe where things don't get promoted

but in real life Curtains was #1 on NMF, insta-added to HH and #1 all week on TTH

Compare it to Lana's Say yes to Heaven, which is ignored by Spotify like if it were the plague :/

not a fan myself of Karma, let's see if the remix makes it shine more

insane that they'v listened to fans and went and re-did the song with now possibly Lana singing a verse or a bridge

Snow on the Beach LDR version is coming :D

wish it were Folklore (or Evermore) getting post-release singles... Exile or Champagne Problems not being singles :o

Buzzjack in a nutshell: Kylie is the queen with her potential top 30 single (20 pages) and Ed is the villain by releasing music (20 pages), busy times

The latter is bizarre though, and not sure why he thinks the Taylor Swift way (to put out something all the time) would work for him, apart from making the album hover around top ten for longer thanks to added tracks.

Regarding Swift: having Ice Spice on a remix of Karma feels like a bit of forcing it to happen when it's really not otherwise setting charts on fire. Even Lavender Haze didn't return very high after becoming a single... We'll see what happens there.

Agree!

Kylie is the queen with her potential top-30 single and deserves all of her 20 pages and more though. ^_^

Padam Padamming to the Apple Music top-40 now, up to #39!

And with remixes, well - it is very hard for a post-album single to take off, and the feature remixes proved to be most efficient way to do so. I'd rather have post-album singles taking off on their own, but we have what we have!

That's not promotion, that's support. And sure, it was pretty decent for what still isn't actually a single (Eyes Closed is still the current one). There's no need to be patronising when disagreeing.

I don't think anyone expected the Lana song to be this big. It's a random previously unreleased song, right? Doesn't scream "playlist support across the board" compared to "the focus track off the new Ed Sheeran album". Obviously the former has turned out to be more popular and I'm sure HH will be reacting accordingly before long.

Isn’t Lana’s song just a deep cut that leaked and made it’s way to Tik Tok? Similar to Taylor’s ‘All the Boys…’? Why would she promote that on playlists when she just recently had an album out?
