Anyway, we l jad a good chat and like I said before Maureen liles Kylie and loves Padam Padam. Rose is a Madonna fam and hates Kylie but even she likes Padam Padam. I also played Rose Vulgur 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂👀😂👀👀👀😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 rose's reaction was so funny. I actually like the music to it but Rose, being a life long madge fan didnt. .i am actually going to Liverpool on the 1st July for one of my gay best friends bdays. I cant wait for him to take me out, hes about 15 years younger than me but we met at my laat job and we stayed in contact ever since

 

Anyway hes going to Liverpool and invited me, I think I am the oldest person there lol. So yes I will sort them all out when I am there, I will be going to all the FJs requwsting Padam and I will be asking people in the club why they are not listening to Kylie on apple music. I will ask them in a non aggressive way but I will ask them none the less as I have questions for these people who live in liverpool. Something does not add up here and we need everyone working together, especially people from liverlool. It is not on that all of us here are picking hp the slack. The people i speak to I will be asking them to go on the i tunes app and show me the charts and if I do not see a play button next to EVERY padam version i will tell them how I feel about the situation.

Considering this is a UK forum, I am not sure why you are so concerned about world wide. It seems to be rising in a lot of countries and none of Kylies other songs for a long time have been a hit in Ameria. Lets just enjoy the success of this song in the countries it is doing well in and everything else is a bonus.

 

Good question. Although it wasn’t aimed at me, my answer would be: in the streaming era, musical success is interconnected globally. Therefore, in particular, songs that have success in the US will also be more successful in other countries. For me, it is all well and good Kylie being successful in the UK, but I want to see the joy that she creates spreading throughout the world. In particular, if ‘Padam Padam’ takes off in the US, it will have a knock-on effect in the UK.

Exactly - it still seems to be on the climb in various countries on Apple Music / iTunes; I imagine it's growing on Spotify, but is still too weak to properly show up there.

 

I do think a European promo tour would be ideal and hit up some key markets - ie Germany, France, Spain, Italy and at least one of the Scandinavian countries. If they could line up their ducks in a row, this could be done in a week or two.

This - they have the comeback story to back it up - surely she'll get a lots of press if she visited those countries for promo. Maybe with the album?

I have to say i actually love the Extended Mix now and its held up so well to still be 8 on Itunes. The extra streams are useful too as is the Youtube video.

 

 

The biggest markets are America, Japan and then the UK in that order. So knows her biggest market is the latter and has literally only launched the era 4 weeks ago give her a chance!

The First Look Chart today should be interesting! Kylie is top 10 on Amazon (for which 2 days will be counted) and on Apple. 21 on Spotify (though only one day will be counted). One of the two most downloaded songs of the week so far. And probably still one of the biggest sellers on CD. YouTube data is great too - though there might be nothing added yet.

 

Even without anything new released on Friday or Saturday for PP, I feel it should easily be top 10 today. Possibly as high as 6, but I feel 8-10 are more likely.

I know people have said in the past that it only covers Friday to Sunday, but I don’t feel that explains the chart performance that we see each week. I believe it does cover a whole week of downloads which is why Kylie remains at number 1, even when other people start the week above her.

 

Well Kylie is probably 1 on Itunes combined and also 7 on Apple Music since Friday so Leigh-Ann would have to have sold a hell of a lot of downloads, which is always possible but she isnt as high on AM yet

Kylie staying steady on Spotify is amazing since she usually falls on the weekend! It means that it's starting to show up on people's weekend lists, so it's up and go from here.

I’m really excited to see her sales for this week with streaming being so strong

It's shot up overnight from "#43 top music video" on YouTube to #21. I did notice the views were going up faster!
