Yes, I really think it will (can’t believe I’m even saying that).

 

Even with the influx of Tina Turner songs she’s still gaining on streaming and holding steady on iTunes plus radio is getting onboard and the memes are showing no signs of slowing down.

If she can snatch top 20 next week and the CDs drop the week after... could we even believe it could go top 10? I dont want to get a head of myself because it has been dry on the singles charts for a long time (apart from SB).

 

Lets take one week at a time I guess, next stop is trying to get top 20 next week. Hopefully radio and playlist support goes up to help push the song higher.

 

Maybe they will hold remixes back until it looks like it is close to a top 10 placement?

Is ACR/ SCR in force on the streaming only chart too?

No, over streaming chart there is no ACR or 3-songs cap. Hence PP not charting there yet and songs like ‘Set Fire to the Rain’, ‘Sweater Weather’ or ‘Wonderwall’ lingering in the bottom of it.

Padam padam is really breaking some barriers which is just something else, i think im still in awe seeing Kylie top 30 officially and also top 2 on itunes over a week after its release, it does all feel a bit surrreal.
