Acquiesce has gotta be one of their most under appreciated songs. I’d love to see that become a smash

I actually managed to finally get a ticket to this today, to the 28th September Wembley gig. Some newly released production tickets went on sale this morning and I got an email code amazingly. It's re

They actually played. Congratulations on starting the tour! More proof they really are back. Edit: Forgot to post the iconic video.

you guys better aim at the 1st gig, just in case they split up after the first date :D

Always a possibility but the money is gonna be too good I think. Sounds like they’ve softened towards each other and it was always Noel who wouldn’t get back. Liam would have done it ages ago given the chance.

And if Oasis get included on Now 119 due to their tour announcement, I just hope they don’t reuse either Live Forever or Wonderwall for the third time. I hope they include one of their hits which never previously appeared
Do we know what the band's line up is for these shows?

How about the classic #1 All Around The World, that's one I'd love to see. Champagne Supernova is a close second.

Apparently Paul Arthurs (Bonehead) played a big part in setting this up, so I assume he will be in the line-up.

If they were to include All Around The World or Champagne Supernova, they’d use the radio edits

The papers are reporting that the rest of Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds will join them.

The HFB include Oasis member Gem Archer (1999-2009) and touring member Chris Sharrock (2008-2009).

Still a shorter option than the #1 D'You Know What I Mean at 7:43.

I seem to recall Liam saying he wouldn't do it without Paul so it'll be interesting to see if it's him or Gem Archer. Could Gem switch to bass maybe?

he's in remission from cancer, so I'm not at all surprised if they both have goodwill towards him enough to behave and to include him. I saw Noel doing Oasis stuff earlier this year, so the warm-up makes sense now, and I will be trying for Wembley, Cardiff second choice - 3 hours to wembley vs 5 hours to Cardiff despite both being exactly 112 miles away from me.

I reckon more likely they just bring Bonehead out for the encore at the end or a few songs. He’ll deffo be a part but does sound very much like it’s just Noel’s band and Liam.

Sounds like half the country will be trying for tickets! Going to be a struggle and the touts/bots will be out in full force too. Fingers crossed the extra dates come out fairly quickly.

Just under 1 in 20 of the UK population applied for tickets to Knebworth in 1996. I suspect half the country could be an underestimate for this one. Even I would quite like to see them again and, a handful of songs aside, I didn't like them all that much after the first album.

Mind you I'm not paying what I expect they're going to be asking

Bonehead is a must.

They are playing Manchester on weekends either side of my birthday so i’m aiming for that but id go anywhere tbh. Tickets will be a huge mission though, i’ve heard so many people who are buzzing to go today at work, out and about and on social media.

It doesn’t matter the cost this is something you simply can’t miss. I’m glad they didn’t leave it too late too. Perfect timing actually. Hopefully they just stick to the old stuff, no new music needed.

Half the country is definitely not an underestimate

So many of my friends are planning to get tickets whatever they cost and are getting majorly excited... yet I'm kinda completely unbothered by the news. I guess I was only on board for the first two albums in the first place so maybe that's why.
Tbh, DLBIA being only as low as #55 in the US was a massive crime. S*** belonged in the Top 10 like Wonderwall.

Don't think the US really warmed up to them

they only have those 2 hits in the 90s in the US + The shock of the lighting, which was a low top 100 in the 00s
