Those CD sales last week hardly increased so do we think that was an accurate sale or they held some back?

If they held them back then seems extremely daft considering how close to top ten though guess they expected the two Dave tracks to overtake. Looks as though his streams dropped back a bit and the Thursday stream guesswork went against him.

I can't see cassette sales making much difference, a vinyl on the other hand might, this week ideally it will increase on streaming.

Thanks for the stats, always great to read. I really can't call where it will be on tomorrow's first look chart.

Amazing stats - thanks!

And I’m the same I literally have zero idea where this will land in the First Look chart - also we’re going to be totally blind to cassette sales as they will be reported on Thursday.

CD singles and vinyl have traditionally added 2-3k sales but we have nothing to go on for cassette singles in terms of demand, I’ve seen multiple people say they’ve bought the maximum allowed (2 copies) - is it outside the realms of reality to think at least 500 have bought the maximum so 1k in sales?

I think it will be in the top 10 on the first look again

I think we will have over 1000 itunes downloads, 100 CDs, 100 website downloads 50 downloads from other sites, & solid streaming

It would depend on the physicals and downloads but she had a biggest streams yesterday.

The cassettes won’t be included so I doubt she’ll be that high, low top 10 maybe

Downloads and streaming is probably higher at this point than last week but physicals lower which makes the prediction harder.
So it’s no10 in first look chart (4 places lower than last week). I suspect it will drop and end up somewhere between 16-12.

I’m going with #10! I think she will just get it - it will be tough but with the additional download versions, streaming increasing and the physicals dropping I think she’ll just hold on.

Hopefully the Kylie socials will push streaming and the CD competition this week which will help flog a few more CD singles/store downloads.

Context needs to be applied here. #6 last week was with a ~2k boost of CD sales. Without those CDs, Padam Padam would have been at #15 in that first look - and that's around where she would have ended up on Friday, without the CDs (maybe #16). So this shows that she has consistency with her streaming (and downloads).

This week, she's first look #10 without that boost of CDs, so it's actually a good sign of growth. I don't see any particular reason why she should suffer as much as a 6 place decline by Friday, not when her streaming is currently the highest it has ever been. Alongside the possibility of a last minute boost from cassette sales (release date for them is Thursday 15th June).

The streaming increase is what's really giving up and fingers crossed streaming will hold strong throughout the entire week.

But Kylie’s ended up lower pretty much every week in official chart than compared to the first look chart. Not sure how much the cassettes format will add in terms of sales but would be great to be proved wrong and see it increase its chart position again!
