June 11, 20232 yr Well at least 25th is a decent improvement on 40th last month :kink: I think this is probably the first time that I've got to the half way point of the year without achieving a top 10 result, my hit-making powers are fading :kink: but happy to be on a streak of consistently qualifying at least. Very chuffed that this got 5 medals including 3 golds too <3 Congrats Burbe on the win :cheer: I didn't quite vote for this but it was 18th in my ranking so not too far off. Pleased that my 18, from Bronzil, finished in the bronze slot *.* elsewhere in the top 10 I also voted for: FSR Rontvia, Singerpurear, Kathaldazia and Bøtanikkä :clap: shame Persephonia couldn't quite sneak in there too! I don't ever remember that my Top 2 actually being Top 2 (in reverse order) in BJSC, so congrats to both of you!!! So happy with the Top 10 in the end, thank you Wholune for submitting those late votes <3 Kath, you did marvelous job hosting sis. And last but not least, I'm not looking forward to summer break lol because I legit have songs lined up and I fear I will get bored of them by July!!!
June 11, 20232 yr Gahhh so close to that top 10 but alas remains elusive this year, need to try harder in the second half :drama: I figured out I was tied with Bøtanikkä for 10th/11th after my own votes so was praying for a miracle from Whoddy's late votes but that not happening clearly :kink: (I'd have lost the tiebreak anyway so Whoddy is forgiven, in fact he makes the 11th place more bearable as it means I didn't literally foot shoot myself to being 11th on a tiebreak haha). Nevermind, still continuing to do better with each entry so far this year and got a pleasingly high number of medals and 12 pointers, so that's all still positive(+) :3 Anyways, will comment on the rest of the results in a bit but for now big congrats to Ben for a very well deserved and hard fought win, our latest inductee to the 2 wins club *.* (as Quintessa would have been too tbf lol). I did think as soon as I heard it that this song was giving winner vibes, I know hemlocke's previous entry didn't light the scoreboard on fire but this one is a much better song imo and I did think it sounded more widely appealing too. I feel like 'stranger danger!' from her may also have been a strong winner contender! I did a quick double check already and my scoreboard matches up perfectly with Kath's so no corrections needed this time B-) thanks for a flawlessly smooth hosting this month Kath, certainly more than making up for any lingering memories of the Nokia hosting kerfuffle of old :cheeseblock:

June 11, 20232 yr Hooray, brilliant winner *.* One of my favourites of this first half, I heard it on one of my Apple Music playlists and it instantly sounded very captivating and Kate Bush-esque. I added it to my library and bookmarked as a future potential, but I was too slow off the mark clearly. Many congrats to Burbe nonetheless! Top 10's mainly pretty good (Bronzil in Bronze as well *.*), but sadly a lot of my big votes I was pleased to see in there midway just about dropped out in the end </3 Still great to see Persephonia and Greenfroze do so well (Jean-Michel Blais delivering the goods again <3) Pleased to see most of my votes at decent positions, but Zanias that low is unacceptable, actually thought that sounded like it would do quite well :'( Thank you for the great hosting, Kath! I could probably do with the break now as I've had so little time for new music recently with everything going on, here's hoping to a better second half to the year than last year at least!

June 11, 20232 yr Huge congrats to St Burbia! It was a good track, not too far out of my commiserations and a deserved win. Shame Quintessa just missed out there with an absolute summer jam, but second is still brilliant for it. Bronzil with the bronze seems fitting too. Thanks to the final votes there for mine from Scotland 2 and Persephonia! Wow well I'm extremely happy with 4th, I didn't see it coming anywhere near there, it didn't have much hype or buzz so it's caught me off guard here. Thanks so much to all the voters. We're on an amazing run of seven top 20s in a row here now 2-10-18-2-2-11-4 - I haven't strung together that many since 2013/14, so am very grateful for the support for my recent entries <3 My only real aim this month was to stay YTD No.1, so I'm very happy to acheive that! Fab to see PSB in the top five, Burn really should have been a single and it's a great anniversary entry pick. Also so refreshing to see Mack in the top ten - a really good entry. Bøtanikkä's act I raced to confirm with a different song but got there too late, I'm glad they came top 10 anyway and am sure Brutalismus 3000 will be back in the contest again before long, a really great act. Really, really low for Lookylion there, I thought Cornelia was something of a Buzzjack darling, and this is such a good song - surprised but maybe she's a little overexposed on here now. D'yermak'er didn't strike me as a last placer at all, but at least 95 is a really solid score. Super happy with 7th! I had a safer choice confirmed but switched last minute to this more obscure one which had less than 100 views on YouTube and 1000 streams on Spotify. Such a satisfying result when the riskier choice pays off :wub: Congrats Burbe! My fave entry from you in ages ❤️ I sort of had a hunch it would win looking at the semi scoreboard, but Quintessa really rallied up some big points in the final. It was exciting to follow! Yaaaass @ Bronzil! I had penciled in Memories of You from the same album to send here. Last Dance was totally not on my radar until I saw it in your chart. Get that bronze smash *.* A shame Persephonia couldn't hang onto the top 10 and Neliönoir should be 40 places higher
