June 11, 20232 yr Ooh I know the Heart, Shakespear's Sister, Cocteau Twins, Saint Etienne, Monsoon, Siouxsie + Blondie songs from a quick scan - should be a high quality edition
June 11, 20232 yr Author I must say that Cocteau Twins were confirmed 3 times in a span of 24 hours lol (with different songs)...I must admit that I've never heard of the band before so I am curious to hear what's their sound!!!
June 11, 20232 yr Looking forward to hearing Shakespeare and Blondie tracks especially here as I'm quite the fan generally. Be fun to make some great discoveries here overall.
June 12, 20232 yr One of those songs has long been a potential BJSC entry for me. Not any more  I'd say Iceblink Luck or St Etienne  Well, there's a personal chart number 1, a number 2, 3 top 10's and half a dozen others I like so there's 10 from those I already like and 12 more still to listen to... :o
June 12, 20232 yr Great list. And also, a reminder of some bands that I hadn't even considered like Siouxsie And The Banshees.
June 12, 20232 yr I've added a Spotify playlist to the opening post. Scenic by Ozean is not on Spotify.
June 12, 20232 yr I only know 10 this time. Know a lot more of the bands but not the chosen song… and 7 I don’t think I’ve even heard of the band so good job people
June 12, 20232 yr Author and I'm just going to throw this out there, I was thinking to have a listen through on Wednesday around 8PM...it's just over 1 hour and 30 minutes so it should be easy to digest. Let me know if Wednesday works for ya'll. Thank you.
June 12, 20232 yr I love that this contest is so much smaller than BJSC. I do like BJSC but it can feel overwhelming some months, this level of music is so much easier to manage and I actually feel like I've gotten to know the songs much more than those in BJSC.
June 13, 20232 yr Tomorrow works well for me for a listenthrough :jump: Siouxsie And The Banshees was actually the first band that came to mind for me for this theme so not surprised to see them showing up here (looking forward to hearing that song), several other pretty obvious names here as well, although I think the only song I've actually heard already is the Shakespears Sister one from the album listenthrough we did earlier in the year. (Speaking of, is there any plan for those to return at some point?)

I'd quite like to suggest a listen through for Tori Amos' From The Choirgirl Hotel as I think that could be interesting to see what people think of it
