June 26, 20231 yr Oh so these are not in order of receipt x The whole 'female vocals' thing was admittedly quite incidental to my entry, I just Googled 'post-punk bands with female singers' and found something obscure and cool sounding from the very short list of bands on a last.fm results page that came up, half the song is instrumental and I don't know that the vocals really add that much to it :kink: (not that I dislike them, they do work well with the general moody lo-fi vibe, but I'd probably like the song just as much as an instrumental). Funnily enough I think my song is also one that was unreleased at the time but later resurfaced via a random compilation, although it is their only song that's actually on Spotify (they did have a proper single release but that one is unavailable). Nice to see that it did connect well with a few people anyway, thanks Julian for the bronze medal, !!! and Chez for 7 points each and Jade for a couple more mealworms, my points have totally dried up now so still could be heading for the very bottom of the scoreboard again after all despite a strong start in whatever order Addy is presenting these in, I do already have more points than my last entry got though and only need 3 more points to surpass my debut entry too :lol:
