Obviously the pre-orders have only just launched so there's not much to go on, but this is just a fun prediction game to see if any of us end up being right. Where will Claire Richards' new album Euphoria chart in the UK? Vote in the poll and then reply in the thread to say what position you chose!

I’m going with #5!

I think she will be absolutely everywhere and this album will appeal more to her core fanbase than her debut did - the fact there are cover versions of Loreen, Abba, Celine & Cher as well as duets is playing her market to perfection.

I think she will go all in too - album signings, launch shows, personally signed etc., plus the format options are there and as we know the Steps fanbase always snap up physicals (of course Claire won’t carry all of the Steps fans with her but a sizeable amount will be supporting).

Also August can be quite a lull for album sales and new releases which should work to her advantage.

Top 5 would be incredible!

I looked back on the equivalent week last year, and it was quite a dead week:

01 51,510 Muse - Will of the People [19,576 CDs, 18,515 vinyl, 6,617 cassettes, 3,889 downloads, 2,913 streaming]

02 8,532 Harry Styles - Harry's House

03 6,051 Ed Sheeran - =

04 5,821 DJ Khaled - GOD DID [215 downloads]

05 5,116 Beyoncé - RENAISSANCE

06 4,945 The Weeknd - The Highlights

07 4,861 Kendrick Lamar - Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers [167 CDs, 3,135 vinyl, 380 cassettes] [total: 79,666]

08 4,513 Arctic Monkeys - AM

09 4,423 Embrace - How to Be a Person Like Other People

10 4,348 Elvis Presley - Elv1s: 30 Number 1 Hits

Although knowing our luck, it won't end up like this in Claire's release week!

If the sales did end up being like this, I could see her going Top 3 for sure. When choosing #9 I had in mind her needing 6,000+ to do it.

So far these are known about:

Alice Cooper – Road [25th August]

Ashnikko – Weedkiller [25th August]

Belinda Carlisle - Kismet (EP) [CD] [25th August]

Hot Milk - A Call To The Void [25th August]

Islands - And That's Why Dolphins Lost Their Legs [25th August]

Spanish Love Songs - No Joy [25th August]

Tim McGraw - Standing Room Only [25th August]

#11 because that chart position is hilarious.

I'm telling Louise what you've said :( x

Louise must hate number 11. I think if Claire was to miss the top 10 it would like a number 15 or 17 type outcome but I really do think she will get top 10.
Where did her debut start out in the midweeks can anyone remember?

Mids for the first album -

#5 (Monday)

#6 (Tuesday)

#6 (Wednesday)

#7 (Thursday)

It started on Monday with 4.9k and ended on Friday with 6,104 copies sold.

The artists above and below her:

#8 Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper 7,055

#9 Claire Richards 6,104

#10 Bring Me The Horizon 6,003
