you’ll be pleased to hear this could very well be Sprinter’s last week at number one as we’re apparently getting …

… another high profile Central Cee collab (with Drake this time)

What a true nightmare, Central Cee replacing himself at @1

Of course only way CC can get hits is with collabs or samples

Ive heard a rumour of a new versipn of Taylors I can see you

with Ariana, any confirmation?

Everyone's moaning about Central Cee lol, it's just a different genre to what you like. It's still good music that caters for different ears. There's many of people that would have the same feelings towards mainstream pop. Just enjoy what you enjoy and appreciate others success.

That's not a name I'd have expected for that song, I could hear her on 'Cruel Summer' maybe but not ICSY

I think we have another Weekend feature out this Friday, the one by Travis Scott with him and Bad Bunny. Should do huge numbers in the Americas, but can see it being high in the UK too.

Last I checked "Loading" is still his most streamed song on YouTube, and pretty close on UK Spotify stats (I suppose "Obsessed With You" is slightly ahead), and I checked 2 minutes ago.

The rumor I seen is Your losing me , (the cd exclusive one from midnights late night edition)

Ariana is rumoured to feature on literally everything and it's almost never true :kink:

Interested to see how the new Travis song does, it's the lead single from his new album which had been hyped for ages (like his last album...), the Bad Bunny feature should guarantee huge numbers worldwide but won't be any help in the UK. Kinda depends how much of a persona non grata Travis still is post Astroworld. And if the song is any good obvz.

The Drake/Cench song is apparently just a freestyle, I imagine it'll generate big numbers for a day or so but I don't see it being a #1 or a big sustained hit, probably only an 'Only You Freestyle' size hit at best?

I hope Dua manages at least a week inside Top 10 coming next week...the way it's been going up this past few days it looks promising!!!

His most streamed on Spotify is Doja with 478K, almost double on anything else

Let Go and Loading are tied at #2 with Obsessed at #4

but of course is a matter of time til Splinter catches up

That is globally - Obsessed With You remains his biggest in UK, according to Kworb

59.1m Obsessed With You

52.5m Doja

41.8m Loading

38.4m Sprinter

31.1m Let Go

would be great to see Central Cee x Drake and Travis Scott x Bad Bunny x The Weeknd both do big numbers (and potentially Taylor x Ariana if it does happen to exist, can't say I enjoy Taylor's music much but I do like Ariana's music generally), but personally I'm rooting for Sprinter to get 10+ weeks to become definitively the longest running rap #1.

Obviously this only includes weeks where the song was actually in the top 200, so Loading is at a big disadvantage here compared to the others which haven’t dropped out as much since their release

Yeah, that's the point I was making. Probably an extra 15 million from all those weeks which makes it a close second.

(Also on YouTube it's 40 million ahead of "Obsessed With You").

Well actually though the main point I wanted to make is that obviously Cench can get a solo non-sample hit, it just so happens to be these stipulations put on his latest releases of note. It's a self-fulfilling process because it used to just be 'he needs to have a sample' before "Sprinter" came out, now he needs to have a collaborator yada yada goal posts.

It's also an odd point to make when 'Sprinter' has become by far Dave's biggest global hit and that is because of Central Cee, not the other way around.

(Not that using samples or collaborating makes hits any less valid anyway...)

unannounce it. x
