Yep i think it will all start this week when she comes back from LV after the Grand Prix.

I'm sure BMG have things planned. I'm still hoping for a festive/choir Hold On To Now to be released in some kind of EP

TV appearance on Sunday December should get a few more downloads. Reduce to 59p?

Will we get a remixes EP download released on 8th or during that week?

Bonus Edition on Streaming with Heavenly Body etc? Could grab some extra streams for HOTN

Still think it has a chance of a top 40

 

But who knows what will happen..... lots of rhe above may not happen

I have zero expectations for the singles chart on 15th December, if it appears at all I’ll consider that to be a surprise and somewhat miraculous!

 

As things stand I’m a bit over this single, in terms of how it’s been handled by BMG - which in my view is really poorly, so far. It’s hard to feel enthused about it. The CD & Cassette released quite randomly, without it even being on Radio 2 or having a music video… bizarre.

Them ballsing it up has spoilt our chart analysis hahaha.

 

No proper Airplay is weird, needs to kick in soon to at least give it a chance and help the album at least tempt some physical sales.

 

Instagram stories etc can only help so much. Guess the residency and her public appearances are more than enough rather than trying to achieve 5000 more sales because the market is so dire.

Also wasnt Hold On To Now supposed to feature in the Netflix 'The Residency' drama ? I guess that is still delayed due to strike action?

yes i dont doubt theuy can. But playlist would be 5-6 weeks so they probably want it to go into early next year so i think playlist 25th Nov or 2nd Dec.

 

 

i just meant maybe they have another single waiting to go on a playlist and they wouldn't playlist 2 songs.

 

Seems like we are going to drip fed the remixes 1 by 1 over next few weeks to try and build up some streaming. Don't download until the 8th haha

I’m not keen on the remix. It’s quite dull tbh. I would have preferred a 7th heaven remix or similar vibe.

I think we’ll get maybe one more single. It feels way too early for a reissue and can’t see that coming until Q4 next year. Vegas high would be a good follow up.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see VH released as a buzz/radio track to celebrate the Vegas shows and attempt to keep album sales ticking over.
