Something to Give Each Other album chart run in the UK so far: 04-47-101-147...

Not that I expect it would have made a massive difference, but it doesn't help that his UK store sold out of all of the bundles weeks before the release date and they haven't replenished stock at all since. Not expecting more signed bundles, but it seems odd that there's never been a standard version of each bundle added without the signed inserts.

‘Blue Neighbourhood’ and ‘Bloom’ also only lasted 2 weeks in the top 100 (although Blue Neighbourhood had a 3rd later on), so whilst it would’ve been nice for this album to last longer it’s not that surprising ultimately

Troye has announced some UK tour dates next June.

22 – Manchester, AO Arena

23 – Glasgow, OVO Hydro

25 – Dublin, 3Arena

27 – London, Arena Wembley

28 – Birmingham, Utilita Arena

Can he really sell arenas?...

Think he’s being ambitious with arenas, hoping to go Manchester date.
I suspect the arenas will all be at a reduced capacity when the tickets go on sale, and then they can add more tickets if the demand is sufficient

Woo got tickets for Manchester, I still cant see him selling much of it though.

Ticketmaster are so cheeky now asking for extra £10 per ticket for aisle seats.

Got a London ticket through the O2 presale. The artist presale was useless unfortunately, seemed like only about 5 seated tickets got released and all were near the back...

Thought the aisle seating thing was just for Wembley! It was the same on AXS so not just a Ticketmaster thing. Pretty disgraceful.

This is pretty shit tbh. As someone who is about 6'3 I usually aim for end of the rows/aisle seats so that I have somewhere to stick my legs out if I need to stretch them coz arena seating is pretty shit (it's the same for theatres too - in fact worse for them!)

Ugh.

I really dislike the lyric in OOYG that says “give me a call if you ever get desperate, I’ll be like one of your girls”. It’s such a shame because I like the sound of the song a lot.

I think that lyric is crucial to hit home that he's feeling an increasing lack of self worth in what is a pretty sad situation. He's willing to act differently to his true self because he feels that it's the only way that this person could ever desire him for a fleeting moment. So feeling that this person would likely have to be desperate to consider him, I feel like it checks out with the song's overall message.
I find it cuts too close to the idea that gay people are potentially just there to be used; and that queer people just lust after straight people. It makes the song totally unlistenable to me.
