July 14, 20232 yr Author I don't understand why they've dropped 'Dance The Night' already, when it will almost certainly repeak once the movie's out next week. Also a strange decision to drop 'Attention' after just 4 weeks. Did the latest Burna Boy song really need to be A-listed? :unsure: Given they playlisted 'All Too Well (TV)' I thought they might add 'I Can See You' and give it a joint slot with 'Cruel Summer' but clearly not. Disappointed they haven't added the new Declan McKenna yet, but I'm sure they will eventually. I know it's not doing much chartwise (more's the pity) but I do wish they'd move that Anish Kumar banger up the ranks.
July 14, 20232 yr As they have decide to A list that boring Billie Eilish track and they already have Nikki Minaj on, I guess also having Dua on would be too many songs from the Barbie soundtrack on the playlist.

July 14, 20232 yr Surprised to see ‘Relax My Eyes’ off already, I was anticipating it would be A-listed this week. Doja Cat being booted isn’t too much of a surprise, they’ve been more inclined to drop songs quicker this year it seems - ‘Double Fantasy’ lasting just two weeks being the biggest example. Even recently, Anne-Marie and Jazzy gone after 7 weeks when previously they’d be getting 9-10. Happy that they’ve supported Disclosure from the off.

Even recently, Anne-Marie and Jazzy gone after 7 weeks when previously they’d be getting 9-10. Yeah agreed, they have definitely been inclined to drop songs quicker this year which I suppose in general is a good thing (you just don't want it happening to your faves!) Love that Madison Beer song! I only listened to it this morning after they playlisted it, and it is pretty decent, that's about as close to pure pop as anything on the R1 playlist is gonna get at the moment! It’s better keeping her on c list than removing her That wasn't the point being made! A token couple of weeks B-list definitely would have been nice.

July 15, 20232 yr Love that Madison Beer song! Me too, also love the Timbaland remix of it, his production style hasn't changed a single bit since 2007 but that's the charm.
