Dave & Central Cee likely head for a 7th week at #1, with new singles out from Billie Eilish with What Was I Made For? and Troye Sivan with Rush, while Jung Kook & Latto aiming for a big debut with Seven. There's also new tracks from Post Malone, PinkPantheress/Destroy Lonely, Becky Hill/Chase & Status, Oxlade/Dave, Jess Glynne and Royal Blood

J Hus could score his second #1 with Beautiful And Brutal Yard, along with new arrivals including Rita Ora's third album You & I, Lauren Spencer Smith's debut release Mirror and Gerry Cinnamon's Live At Hampden Park set. Disclosure return with their latest record Alchemy, plus there's new albums from PVRIS, Mahalia, Glaive, Lil Tjay, King Von, Voyager, Lindstrøm, MisterWives, Claud, Kim Dracula, Kezia Gill and Michael Bolton, as well as anniversary re-releases of Brian May's Star Fleet Project and Bastille's Bad Blood

Breakdown of the week

- Saturday: Some information may be posted on social media but it is likely to be missing most streaming data and is unrepresentative.

- Sunday: Official First Look Chart on Radio 1 from 6-7pm. Please do not post spoilers on the forum in advance as this ruins the countdown for any listeners.

- Monday: OCC Top 100 from 5:45pm

- Tuesday: Top 40 update as and when we receive them with requests, this is NOT 100% guaranteed however. The OCC may publish sales flashes of their own accord but likewise, this is not guaranteed. Twitter and social media is your friend for today. Please post any information you find with a source. Do not nag for updates, we will post a top 40 update if we receive one.

- Wednesday: Top 40 update from Music Week from 5:45, and potential top 5 sales but this is not guaranteed.

- Thursday: See Tuesday.

Other notes (please read)

- You may make requests Tuesday to Thursday but outside the top 40, specific positions will not be revealed (unless deemed necessary by a mod).

- Please do not demand a midweek update, one will be posted as and when we receive the information. Patience is a virtue.

- Sales information will be given out as deemed necessary by a moderator, please bear this in mind when making requests. Most requests for sales will be ignored. Any chart requests between No. 41 to 100 will not be answered after Monday's update.

- To keep everyone in the loop of all chart action, please refer to the iTunes and Spotify threads.

How good is that Troye Sivan single? Hoping it is going to be a smash.

Charli's got a new vinyl edition of Pop 2 out - hoping for that to at least make a midweek appearance like True Romance did a few weeks back!

guessing it'll be a pretty easy #1 for J Hus in the albums, and i imagine Rita should make the top 10 this time

I'd be shocked if Rita's album even makes the top 20!

Last album went in 11 and new album number 1 album on iTunes so should be top 10

I'd like to say it's a surprise that Rita will struggle, but female pop artists tend to plummet after the first couple of albums
Last album went in 11 and new album number 1 album on iTunes so should be top 10

She'll be top 50

Remrmbrr the last time people here said Rita! ORA would be top 19?

Rita’s album is honestly so hard to call! I’ve had visions of it having a 5-65 esque run but then I also see it debuting anywhere between 15-30 as well she’s never necessarily had “stans” but did used to have a casual fanbase but I’m not too sure the general public would be aware that there’s a new Rita Ora album out.

Phoenix was really unlucky to stall at #11 (it would’ve comfortably made top ten on those debut sales most other weeks of 2018 and it spent longer top 100 than what #1 album ORA did).

5 years is a long time in pop music terms though and her power and popularity have stalled since mixed with bad press and a lack of streaming support but from her existing fanbase and signings and pre orders and with sales in general being on the low side you may expect a top ten this time around but with a much shorter run.

Edited by Jord

the main issue is the lack of hits which are caused by the lack of spotify support

but isn't she doing lots of signings and similar? sure that will help it go top 10 at least
