In what became Lupe's biggest hit in 2008, 'Superstar' is headed for the exit in a neck and neck battle with Sunblock. The rapper had previously only achieved two top 30 hits on his own but he was a featured artist on Kanye West's 2006 single 'Touch The Sky' which also peaked lower (6 whereas 'Superstar' made #4). He enlisted Matthew Santos on the track and the video features the0 two surrounded by Paparazzi. Lupe didn't have any further UK chart success here after this but he did make the top 50 three years later with 'The Show Goes On'. Personally would've liked this to have lasted a bit longer as I find it one of the better tracks from the genre!
