I voted other as I'm unsure if Miley will go to #1, Olivia seems to be struggling to get a #1 this era and the Barbie hype will likely be slowing soon so something else I think!

Hmmm, my gut instinct says Miley as they seem to be hyping it. Although I know it's not a given, the threshold to achieve it is lower and should be easier for her?

 

Or maybe the second Kylie single is going to blow everybody out of the water 🤞

Gotta be Miley, her stock has never been higher.

not sure, Miley used the double gimmick with Flowers of being a song about her relationship,

which people love ie Shakira's breakup song giving her her first hit in 10 yeas,

plus the Bruno Mars interpolation

so hard to tell how a "regular" song from hers will do...

Can we rule out Doja? That track is picking up steam at quite a good pace at the moment, while everything around it is slowing down.

I've gone with 'other', I think there's a good chance it might be 'vampire'. But as ever it's pretty much a total crapshoot to try and predict how songs will chart before they're even out, the massive success of 'Flowers' looks like a bit of an outlier for Miley based on how the rest of the era went but obviously still a chance the new one could catch on in the same way.

I was hoping Dua would get a week at number one but would love Miley to get back there.

I'd love 'vampire' to get a long crawl to #1 tbh but I do reckon something else will be out unless Miley's is massive.

I've currently voted 'other' as I'm really not sure at this point. I feel like Miley's new single will not be a huge hit, maybe just a top 10 or a top 20. As others have said, 'Get Him Back' has not been confirmed yet. Drake may possibly drop next Friday, he has said that the album is finished and International Dog Day is next Saturday as well lol

How would we be able to guess that just by a title? If I saw the title 'Flowers' I wouldn't have said that's anything remarkable or spectacular on paper, but as we know it was gigantic.

 

I think she certainly has the power to achieve a mammoth smash if all the stars align, plus sales are low enough right now for her to do it.
