Great to see Kath still in contention up to the end too, a banger of a track that I thought sounded like a winner when I first heard it but the competition was just too intense this month.

 

Quite an alt leaning top ten again, there's always so many pop entries but very few make the top ten - usually only two or three as they all cancel each other out lower down I guess. Nice to see Summericia up there as one of the highest pop entries unexpectedly, was written off by a lot of people. 13th is really good for New Lexico too!

 

My other potentials finished 23rd and 24th so I guess I didn't exactly miss out on major smashes there even with the DNQ myself, both deserved a lot better though <3

 

I wouldn't say 20th was majorly overhyped for Cor Lupus in the end, most odds had it low top 10 to top 15 area, and it was only 10-15 points behind that, one more high vote and it would have been up in that area.

Just one very small correction to the final scoreboard, POPHub should be on 174 (seems you missed Dobago's 1 point off the spreadsheet), everything else matches and that doesn't affect any positions :magic:

Projected 29th -> Finished 8th ! YAY. I did want to send DJ Heartstring but I knew Kath wanted it (and I thought it would be vetoed LOL), and Patrick wanted "Cowgirl" so happy with my 3rd option !!

 

Patrick projected 1st (by quite a bit) to only come 5th!!! VERY happy for Oliver but when is his time!

Oh wow, must admit I didn't call that winner myself. It wasn't in my votes but still is a good track, I can see why it's done well. Such stiff competition this month too to overcome!

 

Very big congrats to Oliver, clearly a long overdue win, and to do the 2-1 improvement is always impressive!

 

And yet my 25-24 improvement goes unremarked on <_< . But seriously congratulations finally to Oliver, and ‘twas literally 16th for me in a good contest.

Congrats Oliver! Didn't vote for the winner this time but it was still pretty good, ranked it 22nd in a killer final. So so pleased that my 18 did as well as second though :wub: I think Headache is now my favourite entry of the year so far and I originally 'only' gave it 8 in the semi :o I was instantly grabbed enough for that many points but had a real moment with it the following day, turning it into my top favourite and haven't looked back since, thank you for the introduction Dandy <3 also pointed Klum Rep, Sovarasma, Aelandor, Aeroche + Dobago from the top 10 whewww! (Cumu and Kath in my commiserations also) ~ very good taste on the whole to represent probably my favourite final of the year, although shame Danæviia wasn't quite up there too after it had been earlier in the night.

 

34th for NNHMN... my second worst result of the year and not even a unique position, yeah, not much to write home about! :lol: tbf I'm still riding on the high of coming top 10 last month so literally any position in the final would've done this time, happy 'Nrl' kept up my long Q streak and that Dandy enjoyed it enough for an 18, my sole medal this time.

Congrats Oliver! Was a bit too generic for me unfortunately, but sounded like a very big song so fair play. Fljotavik in 2nd is wonderful to see, I thought it might do the same as Self Esteem and go lower top 10 (as a similar Baz Luhrmann type song with a darker existential feel) so great to see it live up to the hype. A very nice looking top 10 on the whole with Sovarasma, my 18 pointer Aelandor and Cumulonimbia up there *. Shame Danaeviia fell back a bit when it was top 10 at one point, but great result for that type of song.

 

Very pleased with 14th (one off a unique position of 13th tho aww) especially as I was the last off 00 (and only 14th in the semi too!) It was a late night YouTube find which really caught me off guard and seeing it grow to over 600k views when I first saw it with less than 1000 is quite wonderful to see. Thank you all for the points, here's hoping I can stay in the final for this part of the year x

 

Would've liked to see Jadakissnia and Rolloland a bit higher, but otherwise pleasing results for a fantastic final, I made some really good discoveries here. Thanks very much for hosting it so well, Kath <3

And Aelandor and Kluminican Republic top 10, both very well deserved and especially pleased for Jacob that he got such a good hit from a post-rock song, I know he'll be happy - and my 18 in 11th, I couldn't believe that 'BIRTH OF VENUS' was quite the song it was but it was just perfect to listen to, fantastic discovery Addy, thank you.
