Nice that she has managed another Top 50 - I thought it might just miss out.

Great it made the Top 20 in the UK and great that it is confirmed.

Tension debuts higher than Padam Padam did here in Ireland with Padam Padam making a number 36 debut when it was released.

From Music Week:

Padam Padam – the introductory single from Kylie Minogue’s upcoming album Tension – peaked at No.8 in July to become Kylie Minogue’s highest charting hit since 2011. The title track of the album now debuts at No.19 (16,140 sales), becoming the 55-year-old Australian legend’s 60th hit since her 1988 debut. Tension was boosted by the release of two CD variants, which secured a combined 4,690 sales, enough for it to debut atop the overall physical and CD sales charts. Tension also debuts atop the digital downloads chart, with 2,326 sales in that format.
Those physical sales - Kylie really is a physical selling powerhouse, especially considering they were selling at £1.99 plus postage when everyone else is knocking them out for 99p with free delivery.
Physical power house indeed, if this strategy was applied to the golden and disco releases they easily would have got a couple of top40s and all the singles would probably have at least made the top 100.

Has anyone noticed that Tension would have made the top 40 on streaming alone? I’ll post more info I’m the Tension forum.

That's great if she had enough streaming alone to go top 40 without anything else, she really has cracked streaming with this era.
