finally got back from work so can catch up on the last bits! nice to see prada in the top 5! yay its given raye another top 5, and although its a boo at dbe now having a top 5 to their name, honestly thank god its with this and nothing else of their own :kink: also not really sure why the fred again song is being so massive, its very middle of the road imo. nice to see vampire and bad idea right in the top 3, and for bir now having a top 3 peak. in an ideal world theyd be flipped to bir could get a #2 peak but it is what it is, hopefully get him back can go top 5 next week too. and pttr is now a fully cvertified bop to me, though still the only good thing shes put out from scarlet imo. attenion was very mediocre, demons is just... wtf and balut is boring

Caught up on the chart show last night. Great hearing Bongos on the chart *.* happy it made the top 40, wasn't actually expecting it to after it dropped out midweek (thanks Dan for improvising with the "missed the top 40" post :lol: ). The V song was a less good surprise, not a bad song, just a bit dull.

 

Glad Leigh-Anne's decline slowed a bit over the week, My Love is definitely superior to Don't Say Love for me, sounds like the kind of song that could catch on and become a long-runner but I don't expect it'll happen here sadly. Angry was alright, not really my thing but cool to see another "legacy" act get a top 40 in the streaming era.

 

Obviously loving the Olivia slayage *.* get him back! is a really fun track so I hope it has good longevity, and a top 5 peak feels correct for bad idea right? The Fred again.. song has grown on me a fair bit too so don't mind seeing that climb. On the other hand, why have we as a nation allowed D-Block Europe to get a top 5 hit x

 

Wondering what Calvin Harris and Hannah Laing have on Jack Saunders / the producer of the show seeing as they seem to get played every single week yay for Luke Combs getting a play, song is "okay" for me but weird that it only had one play until now, and same for Jazzy (better than Giving Me, at least it has some energy to it, but still meh). Finally heard City Boys for the first time during this show too, though that just feels like Burna on autopilot (and he's not very interesting at the best of times, he's elevated by Dave and the producion on Cheat On Me imo)

Gutted that Tension is out but it should re-enter at the end of the month due to the album effect
