Think I voted for the whole top 6 after losing a lot early on. I’d be surprised if Jim hasn’t voted for Bowie.

Only 1 point ahead of The Weeknd! 'Tiny Dancer' is a big fave of mine and I like several other Elton songs, but it didn't feel quite enough for a vote.

The top 3 are all no longer with us :(

And I gave Elton 1 more point than The Weeknd! I’d say it’s more for his songs than his artistry that I appreciate him (though he does have great vocals and musicianship) - he has my favourite singles discography of any solo male I think.

Unless people are just writing off all artists who debuted after a certain year, I don't see what more The Weeknd needs to do to cement legend status for himself, I think he's very comfortably there already. I'd say he's the closest we have to a modern parallel to Michael Jackson (though he's obviously not as omnipresent as Michael was, that's probably not even possible for anyone to achieve these days, although Taylor Swift arguably comes close).

Sir Sir Elton *.*

Love Elton, my 29 pointer, thought he may have been too 3 this year, his farewell tour was brilliant !

So here we are at the final tomorrow!

David Bowie Vs Michael Jackson- Place your bets now!

Oh I'm really pleasantly surprised that David Bowie made the top 2 this time around, very well deserved.

George Michael is one that I do like but not to the extent that most people do. He's had some decent enough singles along the way though.

I cant argue with the top 3 !!

Great taste BJ !!

Well done George, always a legend!

Hope MJ wins again tbh!

Numbers 3-5 separated by 2 points :o a lot of George's material has passed me by, though I've come to appreciate some of the singles from Older more in retrospect.

Elated that David Bowie has made the top 2!

George is a great start to the podium, I always find it difficult to choose my favourite by him but it might be 'A Different Corner'. <3

Very much deserved for George there. 'A Different Corner' & 'Careless Whisper' are both fantastic and he has such a powerful voice. Bowie and MJ are a highly worthy top 2 as well!

A different corner is probably my favourite from George too. I’ve really appreciated him more lately (and Bowie too) but definitely rather see Michael win!

A very different top two but two very influential and essential artists at rather opposite ends of the scale.

I appreciate both Bowie and George Michael and there's lots to enjoy in both their discographies, but neither are among my absolute favourites. I've always loved Michael Jackson's music so I'm very much hoping to see the King of Pop retain his rightful position here!

Excellent top 2, hoping for a Bowie win, but I can't argue with MJ even with his skeletons in the closet.

Also, woop I voted for the whole top 10 *.* a lot of these like George Michael, Elton John, Eminem and Prince I did already really like what I knew of, but listening to their albums for my bucket list did allow me to look deeper into their genius.

Calvin probably a bit more hit and miss than a lot of my other votes, but when he gets it right, he's really one of the best dance producers out there and to still be doing that for almost 17 years now is pretty good going x

I'd be very happy with either of the top two winning.

Bowie is my personal favourite, I just don't think there is anyone else who has mastered so many different styles with successful results (not that all of his albums are great, he definitely has some duds along the way) and I genuinely believe that it was him that was the driving force behind it all. I also think it's hugely impressive to be producing genuinely great songs for so many decades.

Jackson on the other hand has a stellar run of 4 albums in Off The Wall/Thriller/Bad/Dangerous and clearly pushed boundaries in terms of artistry, production and showmanship, but part of me suspects that Quincy Jones played a more significant role in the underlying music in a similar way to Guy Chambers did with Robbie Williams. But that doesn't detract from the results still being exceptional and MJ clearly was a megastar who managed to make music that was distinctively his own and ensured the performance elements were out of the league of any of his competitors.
