November 6, 20231 yr Didn’t I move Richard Ashcroft up to #28 in the end in my revised list after I had a few doubles? Or perhaps I didn’t press the send button, in which case no worries!

November 6, 20231 yr Ryan Gosling  The silly responses causing so much work for Gezza, i hope he doesnt mind.

November 6, 20231 yr Lol at Buzzjack only giving Eric Clapton and Van Morrison 2 points in total each. Prob deserve more in terms if legacy but both vile vile people especially racist Clapton.
November 6, 20231 yr Quite surprised with Macklemore and John Newman being this low. Shame I didn't have enough room for K'naan. His follow-up top 40 hit, which was a collab with Keane, is a PES 2011 nostalgia for me.
November 6, 20231 yr 'Another Chance' by Roger Sanchez has a huge place in my heart  but don't know too much of his other work! Big fan of OutKast as a group but not well acquainted with solo Big Boi, minus 'Shutterbugg' which is an absolute tune *.*
November 6, 20231 yr I was about to say I expected one or two others to go for Eric but I guess for reasons mentioned after could be why lol. Only 2 points from me and it was based on his musical merit and contribution even if I don't necessarily seek his music out on my own, some great classics by him though. Simon Webbe and John Newman had some great tracks and 'Another Chance' is amazing but don't know much else from him songs wise and 'Wavin Flag' is a rare case of a relatively low group of Footie songs I enjoy! Oh and Macklemore is great as well!
November 7, 20231 yr Im aware Van Morrison went a bit deranged with his last album and he was anti-lockdown but he's 75 or 80 or something but for me when someone later in life goes mental like this, it doesn't affect my view on their earlier work from 50 years ago when he released Astral Weeks for instance, for me that's still a masterpiece and I don't see it as the same situation as Michael Jackson or Lostprophets just the ramblings of an old man age 75 that has nothing to do with whom he was 50 years ago
November 7, 20231 yr Van Morrison definitely has some good music, he very nearly made my votes. I've seen him live twice as my parents were fans and both times he came across really badly, like doing the gig was a huge inconvenience for him.

November 7, 20231 yr I'd forgotten Nick Drake had a Top 40 hit, otherwise I might have voted for him too! My faves of his are 'Time Has Told Me' and 'Northern Sky'.
November 7, 20231 yr I really got into David Holmes' material last year, it was played on 6Music last year, I don't know too much of his older work. Chi Mai and Time to Say Goodbye are classical triumphs too <3
November 7, 20231 yr Nick Drake  Sadly it didn't even cross my mind to vote for him but he's a great choice
