November 7, 20231 yr Did think it was likely that Ennio Morricone would be a sole voter moment. His work is stunning, especially 'Chi Mai' the highlighted chart hit above  I gave the David Holmes BJSC entry 'Hope Is The Last Thing To Die' top marks last year <3 had no idea he'd been in the charts, should check out more
November 7, 20231 yr This is the point at which I work out the other artists I should've probably voted for! Sammy Davis Jr is certainly a good shout.
November 7, 20231 yr Oh David Holmes would've made my votes somewhere, but not someone I thought of that might have had top 40 hits!
November 7, 20231 yr 'It's Over, If We Run Out Of Love' I charted by David Holmes last year. Great track!
November 8, 20231 yr I just realized there was another 1wh producer I forgot to include on my list!

November 8, 20231 yr Debated voting for Joel Corry no real loses yet tbh Edited November 8, 20231 yr by Lukuzz
November 8, 20231 yr 'Regulate' is my favourite song to be released from that batch of artists.
November 8, 20231 yr Surprised but pleased I wasn't the only one to vote for Joel Corry. I wonder why Gezza chose that picture to represent him here. :P I'm not sure if I know any of Voyager's choices so far (apart from Ryan Gosling of course). Edited November 8, 20231 yr by Jason
November 9, 20231 yr oh should have voted Terence Trent D'arby, such (wasted) talent, for a while I was a huge fan
November 9, 20231 yr oh should have voted Terence Trent D'arby, such (wasted) talent, for a while I was a huge fan Symphony Or Damn was an excellent album, I didn't rate him that much outside of that though. I found his 80s stuff pretty average.

November 9, 20231 yr I did think it was likely I'd be the only voter for Ian Brown. I have been somewhat put off him in recent years as he's a completely horrendous individual, but do still enjoy some of his solo stuff a lot. F.E.A.R. is a classic and his UNKLE collabs are great. I think there are 6 more where there's a good chance I'm the only voter, 4 of which I'll be amazed if I'm not. Edited November 9, 20231 yr by RabbitFurCoat
November 9, 20231 yr Ooh MJ Cole is a nice choice, shame he only got the one vote but tbf I'm not sure I'd have even remembered him if I'd voted in this. Good to see Headie One making an appearance here too, think he would probably have made my list as well, easily the most consistent UK drill artist for me.
November 9, 20231 yr Ooh a third unique vote already! Not sure how many more of those to expect. 'Sincere' is my favourite MJ Cole hit and have enjoyed plenty of his material that hasn't charted too. 'Waking Up' with Freya Ridings was a long running #1 in my personal chart within the last few years, what a stunning collab

Ian Brown did some really great solo stuff like 'Corpses', 'Golden Gaze', 'Dolphins were Monkeys' and 'Be There' with Unkle is one of my favourite songs of all time. Just magical But he is a dick which put me off voting for him. Mind you I gave 2 points to an even worse (but musically great) tosser and can see on that one I wasn't the only one to give him points!
