The ten queens from episode 1 go straight from a ball runway challenge into... a design runway challenge.

 

The comedy and performance queens had better watch out!

Mini challenge was fun, but also the editing of a certain queen out was quite obvious as the bags changed to completely different ones twice :lol: Likely got given a bag and also had the music stop on them to open a bag.

 

Some really strong looks this week! Banksie was my favourite, so happy to see them win! :wub: I certainly didn't see Tomara being in the top though, I thought Kate Butch would've been!

 

I felt sorry for Alexis - she looked like she was going to kill the lip sync but then her outfit seemed to get in the way unfortunately. Naomi just sort of won by default. :lol:

 

Next week girl groups *_* Excited for that!

Everyone showed their personality really well this ep!

 

Clear bottom 2 for me of Naomi and Tomara... so judging was a bit wack! However...

 

I think among this cast or maybe in general, Alexis was a wee bit fragile for reality tv & though she lipsynced well, Naomi established better character & rapport beforehand so had the advantage going in.

Naomi and Alexis are clear bottoms I agree but I thought Cara Melle would be safe. Banksie deserved the win for sure. I thought both Kate Butch and Ginger Johnson deserved to be at the top. The lip sync was great and I think Alexis gave it a good go.

I agree with the bottoms tbh, Naomi was clearly the worst and the rest did well to a varying degree, Alexis definitely had off points with the cut of her outfit and it was a bit basic plus Cara’s was definitely unfinished. Not really worthy of low but out of everyone besides the bottom 2, she was worse than them. It’s a shame to see Alexis go as many other design challenges she could have escaped the bottom, and she did well at the start of the lipsync but it felt like she just hit a wall and didn’t know what to do at a point, like in a split second she went from slaying to just struggling through it :lol:

 

Tomara top I really didn’t get, that was a safe design challenge if ever I saw it! It was fine, she just sold it well, but I don’t think that deserved a top placement over Kate or Michael. Banksie was by far and away the winner imo, that was just flawless.

Naomi Carter is just SO likeable, I was so glad she didn't leave first, even though it felt like the writing was on the wall. Hope she can squeeze through a few more weeks, she gives me very Tia Kofi energy, that I can tell she's clearly less polished than all of the rest, but the charisma is there in spade loads. Which I'd honestly rather than polish.

 

LOVE Tomara Thomas too, absolutely did not deserve the top, but the way she was STOMPING down that runway gave me life. Just looking at her and the total lack of top set of teeth makes me crease.

 

Such a likeable cast that it was sad to see any of them go, and there was no obvious first out like Just May last year, so we're off to a good start!

I thought Naomi was so lucky to get through with that outfit omg it was horrendous lol! She had the attitude and sass though so I reckon that saved her. I actually loved Alexis St Pete's look and the funeral for the fish was funny. Tomara was the other obvious bottom for me I was a bit like "huh" when they were praising her?
