October 27, 20232 yr I'm happy to see Troye getting a big hit but I'm really struggling to warm to 'One Of Your Girls' unfortunately... if anything I liked it even less on second listen :( I was a bit worried about people comparing it to 'Nightcall' which I've always found really grating (although London Grammar's cover is great x) and while I don't think the vocal effect is quite as offputting on 'One Of Your Girls', I'm still not really a fan. And the rest of the song just doesn't really interest me much, it just sounds like a pretty unremarkable Harry Styles album track. Ah well, at least I like the other 2 singles ~

October 27, 20232 yr I wasn't as sold on Noah Kahan's previous hits as I wanted to be but 'Stick Season' is really lovely so I'm happy to see this being the one to give him a big hit (although it was already his biggest hit really since it had quite significant total streams even before 'Dial Drunk' charted haha). I can definitely hear Olivia's voice singing it so a good choice for her to cover it in the Live Lounge! And being followed by Mitski *.* indie/folk/vaguely country fans eating (I was only half listening to the LAROI song really but it sounded ok I guess)
