They should have all asked their followers to buy the Wizzard original
I'm fairly active on TikTok and see a lot of UK creators on there, but I have literally never heard of any of them.

edit: Oh no, I recognise OSHU - he's a weirdo.

I think I recognise maybe 3 and I spend half my day on there

I find it ironic that all the moaning about wham and Mariah potentially having it complain when something new comes along  can't have it both ways

no no perfectly normal to complain if something is shit but the alternative is even shittier

would be idiotic to accept any alternative, we want a good alternative

Rosie is of Sophia-Grace & Rosie fame iirc!

I can NOT STAND that “Famileigh”! Obnoxious and incredibly annoying. I had a feeling they would be involved. :puke:

Also… where are the black creators? Austyn Farrell woulda slapped!

They should have all asked their followers to buy the Wizzard original

but then they wouldn’t get the opportunity to pat themselves on the back for raising funds for the trussell trust

never heard of any of these people but that of course never stopped ladbaby five years ago…

Everyone's definition of good is different, that's the beauty of an opinion ^_^

I still have no idea what Kunt is trying to do with this release date strategy

"With Shane McGowan passing, Christmas Number 1 is a done deal. Luckily, The Krackpots go a week early with their nostalgic Christmas classic-to-be Proper Christmas. Out THIS FRIDAY December 8th."

Looks like they are going for a high chart placing the week before, and then throwing their support behind The Pogues for Christmas week!

Fair enough! Although the plan was in place a few weeks before his passing :P

I feel like there will be far less interest with it not actually going for Christmas #1, I hope to be proved wrong though.

It's missing Paul Breach

So is prison x

(I don't think I recognise any of the names on that list either, but then I don't use TikTok so I'd only know them tangentially via YouTube)

The Official Top 40 biggest Christmas songs of the 21st century revealed

https://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/b...s-21st-century/

Taking into account combined sales and streams of yuletide songs released this century.

1 IT'S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS - MICHAEL BUBLE - 1.9 million UK chart units (including 206 million streams)

2 SANTA TELL ME - ARIANA GRANDE - 1.6 million UK chart units (181m streams)

3 SOMEWHERE ONLY WE KNOW - LILY ALLEN - 1.5 million UK chart units (104m streams)

4 ONE MORE SLEEP - LEONA LEWIS - 1.46 million UK chart units

5 UNDERNEATH THE TREE - KELLY CLARKSON - 1.37 million UK chart units

6 DO THEY KNOW IT'S CHRISTMAS - BAND AID 20

7 MISTLETOE - JUSTIN BIEBER

8 HOLLY JOLLY CHRISTMAS - MICHAEL BUBLE

9 CHRISTMAS LIGHTS - COLDPLAY

10 CHRISTMAS TIME (DON'T LET THE BELLS END) – DARKNESS

Michael Bublé also boasts a further 12 songs in the Top 40 list.

Insert arguments about Lily Allen etc.

(I wouldn't personally have included it on this list as I wouldn't classify its original chart run as being that of a Christmas song but eh...)

Bieber ahead of Coldplay we hate to see <_<

Notice that the OCC now refers to combined sales and streams as UK chart units.
Are "Creator's Universe" asking for pre-orders for their song, or are they aiming to get 60,000+ sales in a single week?

I can't find any mention of it outside of the OCC article at the moment.
