(Watch me having jinxed it and she's #41 on Friday!). If Cher does go top 40 Friday, hopefully Amazon and Apple Music will give the song more support. I can't see it in the top 200 on either chart currently!
December 13, 20232 yr Unless Sam is way ahead of #11 he won’t hold on in the Top 10 this week when all the missing Spotify streams are added, but I’m sure he’ll get there by the end of the month as Alexa songs always do super well in Twixmas week particularly. Will be good if Ariana can make it this week. It is a shame really that people would rather buy really old songs than support new songs.

In my country New Year is much popular than Christmas, so we have some big New Year hits. I saw someone say their Wham! CD was dispatched from Amazon today too. The post is unreliable in general, and they’re likely taking into account non-Prime postage. Is it basically just added swearing? You can't have forgotten 'This New Year' by Cliff Richard! :nono: On the other hand.... I actually mentioned it a couple of pages ago: That has more of a political message though so it's not really a very festive song. There's actually also a forgotten #30 smash from 1992 by Sir Cliff Richard called 'This New Year' and also 'Queen Of The New Year' by Deacon Blue.

Hope she can stay top 10 now (will be a bit <_< if Sam has CD sales count a week early to deny her since I'm sure he'll be top 10 either next week or the week after regardless). I see Nicki pulling away from Tate - looks like she will top the first week sales of her last album and The Killers might beat the opening sales of 'Direct Hits' too.
