I'm lovin it today!!

Madonna supporting other wpomen by not demanding 50% of this or BTS. Learn from this, mean girls, Taylor Swift and Hayley from Paramore x

#1 on U.K. Spotify with 792k streams :cheer: Noah Kahan is going to be strong competition this week but happy she can still pull in such numbers.

11.2M worldwide which is quite easily her highest Global Spotify debut to date :o

How does that compare against Noah? I can't see the numbers for some reason!

Noah did 764k at #2 which is a new peak figure for him! The numbers at the top of the chart are fab at the moment, with Sophie doing nearly 600k too.

I'm very much sensing a #2 debut, which is by no means bad!

Try telling that to the dull miserable chart forum posters.

I still think it could go #1 should it hold up and physicals are going to give her the edge.

COMPLETELY SEPERATE THOUGHT that has nothing to do with Ariana in the grand scheme of things. But, I just played this and Walking On Air by Katy Perry directly after, and it's made me think how iconic it would be if Katy had something like that to come back with. Or if she'd just released it at all.

Either way, they pair very well in a playlist if anyone cares x

She shoulda released WOA as the third single - Roar, 2. Dark Horse in place of Un, 3. WOA OR!!! LL, 4. LL OR!!! WOA,

Perfect single run and a possible 5 no.1s again.

But lovin thidAriana song AND the sobic/ visual departure. It really feels like a departure and a new era, compared to sultry rnb. Prob gonna be a no.2 though cos of Noah.

Glad this has at least got a day at #1 on UK Spotify - I think it's likely it'll fall behind Noah again for the rest of the week (no shame when he's doing pretty great numbers) and end up with a #2 debut overall but still quite happy with how it's started ~
This dropped to #10 on US AM behind two additional 21 Savage tracks - I fear it's too "pop" for AM users there (compared to the big country, latin and rap hits that have dominated there) but at least Spotify numbers are good!

I absolutely love this. When art references art in a respectful and celebratory way, it's the best. This whole song and video is a celebration and homage to some of the best pop music of the 80s and 90s and she's brought it all back in style. A full era of this please!

This is fabulous and right up my street  Uplifting and joyous. The production is so rich. When the beat dropped, I was like YES MAMA.

Love the longer intro, those high adlibs, the spoken bridge. It feels like a more fully fleshed out 'Be Alright'.

Also loved seeing it on Spotify's NMF Dance playlist *.*

off the scale good

her best work truly is with max martin. that detailed exquisite production compliments her voice so fantastically
