January 6, 20242 yr Only three new entries is quite paltry for the post-Xmas clearout week! I know there weren't really any notable brand new releases but you'd think there'd be more songs rising up from bubbling under having built up over the weeks of Christmas domination. Lmao at Timothée Chalamet being one of the three as well, sure why not. Flo Milli is one of those artists who's felt due a viral hit for a while so I guess here's her moment, I've not massively taken to any of the previous songs I've heard from her but here's hoping this can be the one x Hmm weird that Chase And Status just didn't get a reset at all in the end but it would have denied Mason re-entering at #40 so I won't complain too much! (And as much as I stan 'Baddadan' it had a more than good enough run already). Fair play at 2 of the Christmas songs really managing to hang on in the end, I guess Christmas music dominating more than ever extended into the post-post-Christmas week too (although no such luck in the album chart :P) Also down the bottom end it's good to see The Beatles sneaking another week in as their physical sales surely must be starting to dry up now, and nice at 'Ain't No Mountain High Enough' getting only its second ever week on the chart although not quite at a new peak. That one seems like another candidate for a song that maybe missed out on what should have been an automatic reset though :thinking: (I also notice there's no sign of Drake's 'Practice' yet, and Ocean Alley seem like they may have missed the boat for their chance to chart).

January 6, 20242 yr Has MOTD been reset or is it still on ACR? How can one tell from just looking at the chart? :???: Definitely reset. Was in the mid-#20’s in the midweek updates before jumping up today, and the OCC confirmed on Thursday that it’s been reset.
January 6, 20242 yr You can also tell from comparing what songs it's around on the streaming chart to those on the official chart (it's on around the same level as Billy Gillies and Dua Lipa in both charts who are both obviously on SCR). Moot point in this case because the OCC directly confirmed it was reset but that's a way in general to be able to tell if a song is on SCR or not as that chart doesn't have ACR.

January 10, 20242 yr Tomcraft seem to have a new name of ‘Alwyn Novy’ of the sales chart! How peculiar - reminds me of another DJ, coincidentally also called Tom and from Germany, Tom Novy.
