I concur with Maestro - I also think “Don’t Look Back In Anger” surely can’t be miles off as it streams pretty well under normal circumstances.

When will Calm Down drop out the top 100

It’s dropping quite slowly but down to #98 now, so should be gone in the next few weeks. ;)

This will be the end of year top 10 I think

Stick Season

Espresso

Beautiful Things

Lose Control

Too Sweet

A Bar Song (Tipsy)

Please Please Please

Birds Of A Feather

Austin

Good Luck Babe

That looks about right to me. Though I think Good Luck Babe will overtake Austin.

Chappell should have four in the top 100 at minimum I reckon. Hot to go has to be close right now then pink pony club can’t be too far behind either then there is a few others that might get there too. I wonder if Charli will get one?

I agree roughly with that too 10 prediction list but current trends favour good luck babe to be the highest of that group under shaboozy

I will be shocked if “Hot To Go” isn’t in when I get this week’s chart on Tuesday. “Red Wine Supernova” went silver only a week after “Hot To Go” so could appear before long if it keeps streaming well. “Pink Pony Club” only went silver this week so is a long way off at the moment.

Also looking set to have at least 3 in the year end chart are Sabrina, Taylor, Billie, Dua and… Chase & Status!

I think “Guess” might eventually make it now that it’s stopped freefalling.

“Hot To Go!” And “Don’t Look Back In Anger” replaced “Daylight” and “Hell N Back” this week.

Alan Jones helpfully confirmed that “Brown Eyed Girl” is the YTD #105 with 319,903 sales this year and doing around 10k per week. I have the bar for the Top 100 at 327k right now and going up at about 8k per week, meaning that BEG should enter in a few weeks.

I can’t see beyond #100 but I’d have thought “Daylight”, “Hell N Back”, “Down Bad” and maybe “Redrum” are ahead of that “Brown Eyed Girl” total, so that potentially implies that there aren’t any other oldies knocking on the door of the Top 100 just now. If I’m wrong and “Redrum” is behind “Brown Eyed Girl” that likely means an oldie is lurking in the #101 to #104 zone.

Do you have any estimates for KEHLANI, CHIHIRO and WILDFLOWER.

I would’ve thought KEHLANI especially is close to entering.

I would’ve thought KEHLANI especially is close to entering.

Very wild (no pun intended) guesses:

Chihiro 310k (not doing that much anymore so probably missed the boat without a boost?)

Kehlani 290k (does this over perform on Spotify - not sure why you’d have it so close?)

Wildflower 280k (a way to go but seems to be on the rise again so could get there)

I was of the impression that KEHLANI actually underperformed on Spotify but that’s clearly not the case.

Thank you.

Yeah I think wildflower will eventually creep in too. Taste is at 250k so can’t be too long for that one. Hopefully Espresso edges out Beautiful things but will be close
What is the reason for the recent resurgence in appeal for Brown Eyed Girl? Or it just like another "Everywhere " by Fleetwood Mac in that Gen Z have discovered and decided to embrace it?

As far as I know it’s just the latter. Alan Jones said its 27 highest chart sales weeks have been the last 27, which sounds more like a long term trend than going viral.

I think there’s some Spotify funny business going on in terms of playlisting/auto-play boost. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it in the top 200 on Apple but it regularly appears in the top 50 on Spotify.

Spotify and Apple Music can be quite different. Yesterday in the US, future occupied the top 7 spots on Apple music and 17 in the top 27. Only 5 of those songs are in the top 200 on Spotify. I know US and UK are different but it shows some songs can be incredibly popular on one service and nonexistent on another
