I'm still very confused as to where Summer of '69 gets all its sales from, it seems to rarely be top 200 on either Spotify or Apple.

I can only assume it's very popular with Alexa.

Think the fact that it regularly does pop up on Spotify tells the story enough. Probably 500K+ a week there, which over the course of an entire year makes for a pretty handy figure.

Sure, but I could probably name at least 50 other songs which consistently out stream it on Spotify and aren’t in the YTD list

“Yellow” is back in the Top 100, replacing “Lovers In A Past Life”. With the lack of big new hits I can see this getting rather staler over the next few months!

Beautiful Things ahead of Lose Control :cheer:

Gah it actually isn’t quite yet sorry Joseph!

I do an estimated version each week and then edit it when ChartsPlus comes in, and I’d forgotten to swap those 2 back round!

Next week though surely.

I'll pre-order my celebration for next week then

Thanks as always for this though Julian, an invaluable resource!

Hopefully this drought is only a blip and the final few months we see a foray of big hits selling well so to keep the ancient tracks down to a much lesser extent.

Good to see Chappell inside the YE top 40 now!

I may be way off the mark here as estimating its actual sales is challenging, but I think Don't Stop Believin' could enter soon

What does WAOLOM stand for?

“Who’s Afraid Of Little Old Me” - currently Taylor’s 4th biggest song from the current campaign and silver certified, despite not having charted.

I'll pre-order my celebration for next week then

:magic:

“Is It Over Now?” is out and “Snooze” is back for now.

Billie going to end up in the top 20 very soon :yahoo: :yahoo: genuinely my favourite song of the year! So happy for her!
#88, and climbed from #90 this week so still looking strong.

Thank you. That’s a bit better than I’d anticipated.

I think it must have a good premium streaming ratio as it’s not in the audio streaming chart top 100 that much but seems to be above songs which consistently appear there.

Great to see some songs from 2023 making big falls (Tyla down 6) and love seeing Fleetwood Mac in the top 40
