I think Beyoncé is almost certain for #1 next week then! I still absolutely adore stick season but yay for a potenial new chart topper!
I think you’re hoping for the impossible there. I think it going #1 next week is almost an inevitability based on the data I’m looking at. Benson is the only artist stopping her, but she’s dominating on Apple Music and iTunes.

She’s only 677 streams ahead of Benson on Spotify so long as the gap is small, there’s a chance he could do it. I’d rather he got at least a week at #1

Absolutely LOVING the fact that Beyonce is back in another era of her being a chart titan again.

2013-2020 may have been a new creative peak for her, but it was hard her not getting the chart positions to match. It feels v right for her to back in contention for massive chart hits.

Beyoncé will get a boost from New Music Friday so I think she'll pull ahead.

TEXAS HOLD 'EM is sounding pretty fun on first play! A refreshing direction after RENAISSANCE (not that I didn't enjoy some of that era!)

#9 after just a few days of sale/streaming is incredibly impressive. Beyoncé just keeps reinventing herself. TEXAS HOLD 'EM is so frickin' catchy. I love it

Biography

Canadian singer, dancer, and actress Tate McRae balances emotive, intimate alternative pop and pulse-pounding, R&B-inflected dancepop. Following her viral emergence in 2017, she released her debut EP, 2020's All the Things I Never Said, featuring the Billie Eilish and Finneas O'Connell co-write "Tear Myself Apart." She followed with her first Billboard Top 20 hit, "You Broke Me First," from 2021's Too Young to Be Sad EP. McRae delivered her debut album, I Used to Think I Could Fly, the following year, hitting the top 5 in Canada and cracking the top 20 of the Billboard 200. In 2023, she released her mainstream breakthrough, Think Later. - Apple Music

Biography

The country world feigned surprise when, after three albums of Music Row-indebted songcraft, Taylor Swift formally embraced pop on 2012’s Red. But no one should have been shocked: Any 14-year-old capable of persuading her parents to move from suburban Pennsylvania to Nashville for her career clearly has ambition to burn. And the thrill of following Swift’s rise has been watching her execute it flawlessly, largely because her melodic intelligence is equal to that ambition. Her early, youthful love songs heralded 2010's newly self-possessed Speak Now—which showed off her scathing wit—and evolved into knowing, ironclad pop fare that held its own against boisterous Max Martin production on 1989, her fifth album, titled after her birth year. Throughout, her songwriting has blurred the lines between the public and private, burying enough real-life clues (about, say, scarves and Starbucks) to make clear that only Swift can own her narrative, thank you very much, while still retaining a lyrical elegance. Though 2017’s reputation might have been perceived as a gorgeously constructed piece of dramatic theater—its attendant heroes and villains all real-life characters from Swift's public feuds—all that spectacle proved an attention-grabbing cover for her most romantic album yet. She turned up the romance even more on 2019’s Lover, but it was 2020’s folklore and its companion, evermore—ruminative, relatively lo-fi albums written and recorded during the COVID-19 pandemic—that earned her the Apple Music Award for Songwriter of the Year. She followed those up in 2022 with Midnights, which she wrote and produced with Jack Antonoff, and described as "the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life." In 2023, Swift undertook one of the most ambitious road shows of all time: the multi-year Eras Tour, which saw her presenting new and classic material across more than 100 locales worldwide. It was just one of many reasons she was named Apple Music's Artist of the Year for 2023. - Apple Music

Maybe I'm delulu but I think Formation could've been a #1 even had it been released normally

An all-female top 10 so far *.* (though just one more, as primary artist, to come x)

And I still kinda love Cruel Summer ooop.

Maybe it's just bad songs I get sick of.

Greedy & cruel summer are still 10/10 bops but both need to go now, they’ve had their time to shine
Cruel Summer has now tied with Don't Start Now for the 3rd longest-running song in the top 10 by a woman!
