Happy with where From the Bottom of My Broken Heart, did better than I expected.

At least I’m not on my own with my love for it.

Oh I didn’t rate  I had it in mind that it was closing in March for some reason. Oops...I Did It Again

Don't personally mind 'Pretty Girls' that much. It isn't fab or anything but was alright.

'I Love Rock N Roll' cover is certainly not as good as the original but again one I enjoy at times.

Initially liked the 'S & M' remix until it just derailed off to be nothing special oops.

No major losses so far.

I forgot to rate as well....what a flop stan lol.

With that being said, Pretty Girls isn't as bad as you all make it out to be.

#40 is Perfume, released in November 2013 as the 2nd & final single from Britney's 8th studio album Britney Jean. Written by Britney, Sia and Christopher Braide, while the song was produced by will.i.am and co-produced by Keith Harris and Braide. The song built around themes of jealousy and suspicion in a relationship. Spears revealed that the song was about her split with her ex-fiancé, Jason Trawick, in early 2013. The music video was directed by Joseph Kahn & he revealed that there's an unreleased directors cut of the video, where Britney's role in the video is actually an assassin hired to kill her boyfriend. Upon release the song performed weakly on the charts worldwide by peaking at #76 on the US Billboard charts & peaked within the top 70 in Australia, Canada, & Ireland. The raw emotion and tenderness is on full display here, but you can't help but feel that the song feels a little off-brand and something doesn't quite hit in the way that it should. All things considered I do think that this was a very misguided single choice & perhaps should have stayed on the album, or at the very least been released later after the far superior 'Alien'.

#39 is Swimming In The Stars, released in December 2020 on the deluxe reissue edition of Britney's 9th studio album Glory as the album's 4th single to coincide with her 39th birthday. The song was conceived during the initial recording sessions for the album in 2015 by the producers Matthew Koma and Dan Book, with an additional writing provided by Alexei Misoul. The song along with the other new tracks came about following the #JusticeForGlory campaign that was launched by Britney's fans on social media during the Pandemic, then the singer unveiled a new cover art for the album on May 8, 2020, nearly four years after its release. Upon release the song didn't gain any substantial commercial success due to its lack of promotion and charted mainly on digital component charts in Canada, France, UK, and in the USA. I really wish that the new 'Glory' tracks gained proper promo with music videos to boot as this was a firm highlight with its sleek production, atmospheric synths , stunning vocals & gorgeous vocals, making this a somewhat lost gem in Britney's iconic discography.

Another 'Glory' tracks drops at #38 with Slumber Party, released in November 2016 as the album's 2nd single and features vocals from American singer Tinashe in its remixed version. It was written by Mattias Larsson, Robin Fredriksson, Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter, and produced by Mattman & Robin. The duo was also responsible for vocal production along with Mischke Butler. Britney's team commissioned several polls for different magazines to ask which song from the album should be the second single & this was eventually chosen. Upon release the song peaked at #86 on the US Billboard charts becoming Britney's 36th chart entry & Tinashe's 4th. Elsewhere it managed top 40 peaks in Hungary & Spain as well as minor peaks in Canada & France. This really deserved so much more than it got on its original release as this is a sexy, slow electro pop synth number with stellar production & a catchy chorus. Even the addition of Tinashe adds an extra layer of fun to this fun track. A firm underrate gem.

At #37 is Anticipating, released in June 2002 as the 4th single from her 3rd studio album Britney, exclusively to France where it achieved minor success by reaching a #38 peak there. The song was written by Britney alongside the song's producers Brian Kierulf and Josh Schwartz. A fun bubbly carefree bop the exudes pure joy with its shimmering disco beats, gliding strings and an addictive earworm chorus. In my opinion this would have made a better single than 'I Love Rock N' Roll'.

'Perfume' is brilliant and so underrated it's unreal :( That would have been a smash for her if it was released a few years previously (see also: Madonna - Ghost Town)

'Anticipating' is also great but wasn't "anticipating" it to be that high due to being less known (see what I did there?). Definitely agree it would have made a much better final single (and several other album tracks too)

I love every single one of those songs, noooo :(

I am sad but I literally love every single song in the list
