Good track list and I hope that extra 1998 gets announced next week as we’re over an extra edition as we normally get them 6 weeks after the main edition. If they announce it next week and release it on 4th April, then they’re going over the 6 week gap and I can see the April release schedule being extra 1998 4th April, Now 120 11th April and 12" 1984 part 2 18th April

Wow! There's a lot of great stuff on NOW 120! Immediate thoughts: Tracks 1-7 being songs by the Pop Girls! Iconic! Brilliant! It's what we deserve! APT. is here! That follows "Gangam Style", "Gentle

They sometimes release spin-offs over Easter weekend but not numbered Nows. They released Now Brit Hits on Good Friday in 2016 and extra 1986 on Good Friday in 2023

I'm surprised they have DNA (Loving You) and Good Love on there but not B.O.T.A (Baddest of Them All).

I guess it's tricky to nail down what is considered 'Clubland' from the modern tracks when the brand literally only exists as a TV Channel and Spotify playlist series now. I'm not sure if BOTA has been synonymous with Clubland, even if it does sound like it fits, so it's either that or they didn't have enough room. Though perhaps some of the duplicate artist choices could've been substituted because as much as I love All Or Nothing I am surprised to see N-Force twice.
Considering summer and autumn Nows have set release dates, the release dates for the spring Nows seem to be shuffled all over the place which I disagree with. They should have set release dates for either last Friday in March or first Friday in April and fingers crossed that extra 1998 is announced on Thursday. The way they’re going, they’ll end up announcing Now 120 before extra 1998. I reckon extra 1998 will be this weeks announcement with 12" 1984 part 2 being next weeks announcement and Now 120 being announced on 13th March

Just seen on the Now fans page that they’re hinting that extra 1998 is due for release on 28th March. That means 3 Now releases in 1 day. I reckon Now Clubland should either be brought forward a week to 21st March or pushed back a week to 4th April to spread them out

Love it, even more my thing than a lot of the main release, disc 3 is near perfection, I hope they pick all the correct single edits. Although the single mix of Let Me Entertain You isn’t even available to stream.

Quite surprised that High and Here’s Where The Story Ends weren’t included on the main release.

True! Weird that Steps aren't here actually. Even if Heartbeat/Tragedy are being saved for 1999 when they peaked at No.1, 5,6,7,8 peaked in 1998 so it goes against their own usual rule a bit if they put it on 1997.

The All Saints/Shania/Paula Cole/Sarah Mclachlan combo is to die for

That hasn’t stopped them getting their years mixed up before. There’s loads of times where they’ve got their years mixed up

I love it-particularly that Hanson actually made it with Thinking Of You! Love that song!

Agreed and I'd stretch that all the way down to Boyzone because Lutricia McNeal, Tin Tin Out, Imaani and that Boyzone song are favourites of mine, and I like that Louise track too.

I'm so happy Sarah and Paula got a place!

Also not sure why they’d keep Heartbeat for 99. Tragedy, yes, but there are so many more 99 Steps songs to choose from they don’t really need both?

I can imagine 5,6,7,8 will be on the 97 Yearbook, it didn’t peak but it sold enough to make the top 100 that year.

Still odd that the following songs didn’t make either edition.

How Do I Live

Truly, Madly, Deeply

Feel It

Horny

Sex On The Beach

Crush

It’s also a shame that Lost In Space didn’t make an appearance for Lighthouse Family. If only they’d put High on the main Yearbook.

Paula should’ve been saved for the vault

Would love to see it, but I'll be amazed if they stretch The Vault into the 90s. The 80s ones don't even seem to sell that well. Although hopefully there is still good profit in them considering most of the songs used are not usually touched with a bargepole so are hopefully cheap to pick up.

I could maybe imagine them doing a Vault covering the entire decade in one album.

Seeing as they sometimes announce their albums 6 weeks prior to its release date, then I hope next week that they announce 12" 1984 part 2 for 18th April release and announce Now 120 the following week for 11th April release

How long has it been since we got "The Final Chapter" release for a block of years? Maybe it will be saved for something like that.

They'll be one once Yearbook 1989 + extra version has been done i expect.

If that is the next yearbook, we get a final chapter 1985-1989 later in the year.
