Ugh "End Of Beginning" is so dull and lifeless to me :( CBA with that being #1.

Why do people think Ariana deserves preferential treatment on every playlist going? For what? Bizarre. She has more than enough already, other artists exist. Any song up there would do better with physicals. Every playlist I have on Spotify at the bottom they’ve recommended Ariana’s new song. She's #32 on Apple's main playlist, which is what's been referred to in this thread. Songs like Asking, On My Love, a new Tom Walker one are ahead of her, when she's #5 on their chart, so it's fair to think it should be moved up (obviously yes, and? is getting the big push by being at #1 on the playlist, I'm sure the focus will switch soon). Nobody's suggested preferential treatment, just that her new single be given the right opportunities to capitalise on its current momentum - being on the playlists is good, but being higher up would be more beneficial. Same goes for End of Beginning, which is on both playlists but still a bit low for a song with such big momentum. They took ages to get behind Beautiful Things in a big way, but obviously that came in the end. It's not just about Ariana.

We can’t Be friends needs to be moved way up on the Apple playlists… I didn’t realise it was so low. If Ariana can throw out some physicals next week she might secure the #1.

 

It’s not that low it’s a mixed view on some playlists it was no1 and in others Yes and was ahead of it prob requested by the label to help the album.

 

Assume Djo is exploding now due to moving up the Spotify playlists? I know it was low when moving up quite high?

it was moved a bit on HH but it's still low right now at #13 I think

same for new Ariana, #18 I think so both have lots of room to grow

 

Totally normal for Spotify to support Ariana and put her on playlists when her album is out this week

That's 1000% normal and I totally get it even if I think her first single was the worst song of the year

 

What's not normal is when HH supports like crazy songs or artists no one cares like that time

I’ve seen more people using Madison Beer in the “4 songs Tik Tok are over exposing” trend more than I have seen any kind of video using that song normally. Literally just once or twice. However people are ignoring Benson the most in that trend when his is literally the song I am hearing the most lmao

 

I don’t mind DJO, Beyoncé and Dasha but I get why people may be sick of them on their timeline (Madison is literally the only one I’m confused as to why she’s in that trend atm)

Just realised there's a second version of 'we can't be friends (wait for your love)' charting on Apple (from the 'slightly deluxe' version of the album presumably) so perhaps a climb if/when they are combined? Not totally sure how the Apple chart works with that:

'CARNIVAL' is definitely all over TikTok as well right now. (Him being forced to release independently after making himself a pariah to the industry ended up kind of working out well for this song since it sidestepped UMG taking it off TikTok :'))

 

Happy to see Madison Beer taking off more now, I've never been a fan of her before but I really like this song.
