March 30, 20241 yr TS Madison's comment to Nymphia was so stupid. Bitch, look at the previous looks then, she wore a LOT of non-yellow stuff. This is pretty much a branding challenge, why would she not wear her signature colour?! lmao
March 31, 20241 yr Sorry but that was such a poor showing for Sapphira this week, and Morphine ate her up in that lip-sync :drama: I got what she was going for with the more laid-back approach with the energy and the facial expressions doing all the talking, but she lost that. Plane was definitely the best in terms of family resemblance, but Nymphia was done dirty a bit and Ts' comments, like Pav says, were just silly.
March 31, 20241 yr plane gave 2 identical bodysuits and won 🥲 That were basically the same thing we’ve seen from her for weeks. Yet Nymphia is supposed to step out of her comfort zone + Sapphira still wins the lip sync despite Morphine being the cleanest and most consistent. The riggory of it all.
March 31, 20241 yr I felt like they were trying very hard to find reasons not to give Nymphia the win, I think she smashed it, as always when it comes to her looks. Sapphira was the worst in the challenge itself, I enjoyed her measured lipsync performance though, she bright light and shade, and knew exactly when to go big. I was enjoying rooting for Morphine as an underdog so sad to see her go, but it was definitely her time. Still team Sapphira overall (or Nymphia)!
March 31, 20241 yr I think Plane’s makeover partner won it for her, he gave it everything and really got into it more than the others, and that does count for the challenge for sure but it should mostly be the actual makeover aspect and Nymphia nailed that with the idea and execution. The critique about her yellow outfit I think was bullshit, if there is any challenge to show your brand it’s a makeover and she has ventured away from yellow plenty of times… Plane’s outfits were clean but really basic, which is fine, I get why she won in one way, but I definitely would have gone for Nymphia. I thought Sapphira definitely won that lipsync, it was muted for sure but I love that kind of measured lipsync with light and shade, kind of similar to a Symone lipsync where it might not be the most flashy and filled with stunts or impactful but I just love that kind of lipsync, Morphine did great but we’ve seen that same lipsync from her before.
May 31, 20241 yr Really enjoyed this episode and thought all the makeovers were good/went well. Aside from the dress Sapphira was wearing. Was a toss up between Q, Plane & Nymphia for the win. But I think the fact Ru laughed for a solid 1-2 minutes at the name Lazy Susan kinda cemented the win for Plane. :lol: The comments about Nymphia and yellow weren't needed especially as this is all about your brand/drag family and such so is the time when wearing yellow makes the most sense for Nymphia :lol: I thought the lip sync edit was in favour of Sapphira. Not to say I didn't enjoy what she did, but it was quite clear she was the focus for the lip sync to highlight her moments. If you changed the editing to highlight more of Morphine with the sound effects and such she could've easily been the winner as well as she gave a really great lip sync! It was Morphine's time though, so I'm not mad at her going this episode. I bet she'll do really well on an all stars season! Also, Plane Jane has grown on me so much to the point I actually like her now. :lol:
