So good

Lobster Telephone is another bop from Peggy, not feeling quite as instant as 1 +1 = 11 for me but still great on first listen.

Lobster Telephone is good; can't see it doing anything officially though.

I love this on first listen

She is so mother

I love the more fully fleshed out bridge and outro in the full length version.

 

I'm not really enjoying her song this time around. Besides the fact that it's in Korean, It sounds poor, unpolished (intentionally, I suppose)

Peggy said All That (ft. Villano Antillano) is her fave on the album. They performed it together at Primavera Sound.

Lobster Telephone has been C-listed by Radio 1.

From intro to close this is a rollercoaster of genres but it is undoubtedly Peggy Gou through and through. Back To One is definitely a highlight from the album tracks and I like that I Go has found a home on the album despite being a few years old now. I get strong Screamadelica vibes from Purple Horizon, so good! There isn't a single track that I dislike. I'm already perched to listen to it again.

 

Critically this was overshadowed by Charli last week but holds a Metacritic score of 73 which is pretty good going, with The Line Of Best Fit giving it a 9/10!

The one with Lenny Kravitz still isn’t clicking for me but the rest of it really has. I heard 1+1=11 at a beach bar today and it sounded so good in that environment
