Athlete are booted out next with 'Wires'. The bands biggest hit which peaked at number four. It comes from their 2nd studio album Tourist and is written by lead singer Joel Pott about his daughter who after birth became really ill and had to be placed in intensive care. Pott paid tribute to hospital workers for saving his daughters life. The bands second single also became their second highest charting peaking within the top 20 as all their other releases either were low top 40 or charted outside the top 40!
