30 now on the rolling AirPlay…. heard it today on Radio 2 for the first time and quite why Vernon Kay thinks it’s appropriate to keep adding in Keith Harris and Orville during the song is beyond me.

It’s 33 at the moment (up from 37 last night) but there are 11 explicit songs above it that are excluded from the version of the chart that you can see (including Eminem and 2 x Sabrina Carpenter).

 

Up to number 10 on Shazam! That’s exceptional. Almost all of the other songs around it are already massive hits - and this is one of the biggest climbs within the chart. ‘Midnight Ride’ is certainly intriguing people.

Lovely to see! I think the rise on Shazam is because people don't know anything about Orville and are intrigued. I'm sure Radio 2 hadn't playlisted him before?

One positive of not being that high on the NMF playlists is that the drop off won’t be as hard.

 

It’s a fun duet hope it can crossover and have success. Orville’s deep country vocal and then Kylie’s very breathy 2nd verse does gain attention which might explain the Shazam position. It almost doesn’t sound like Kylie.

If it can just get on a few more LGBT streaming playlists.

 

A video would easily grab quite a few streams too
