Agree with sentiment - it’s nothing special but MUCH better than Forget About Us for me.

The team behind Jesy hyped up her music way too much before it was even released and I think they've done the same with Perrie and her forthcoming album. I have found Forget About Us and her music quite lacklustre which is a shame as she has a great voice.

 

The only member I would look forward to is Jade if she does release anything.

 

As for the solo Spice Girls, four of them scored No.1 hits and I don't think Look At Me, Mi Chico Latino, It's Raining Men, I Turn To You, Never Be The Same Again or What Took You So Long are forgettable pop hits at all :)

Again I just find this so below what she’s capable of.

 

She’s so strong vocally and this just does absolutely nothing to really show this off nor does it offer (anything).

I kind of now see why they were a group and solo acts based on the solo outputs from the three we’ve heard though. There’s something lacking from all of their releases as a solo act as of yet.

I think you mean Leigh-Anne? Her team stupidly hyped her up as the next big pop star, already setting her up before she'd even began her solo career.

Yet solo Spice Girls managed 8 solo #1, 22 top 5 and 30 top 10 hits, no other girl band other than destiny’s child and the supremes have achieved that and theirs are thanks to one member from both being global superstars.

 

Also while you may not like the songs, which is fair enough taste is subjective, I’d argue that when you’re gone and look at me are both 90s classics also I turn to you, it’s raining men and possibly out of your mind would be remembered by the majority of the general public who followed early 00s pop music, maybe even what took you so long.

 

Ps this track is rubbish, quite disappointed since Perrie is such an incredible vocalist, she deserves more.

Well this is forgettable and I did like 'Forget About Us' but this isn't showing off her best potential sadly.

I like the vibe she’s going for with this but not sure it’s what she needs at this point in her career. It’s nothing remarkable and I can see this entering outside the top 20 (23 at best) with a quick descent but would love to be proven wrong. She has so much potential as a solo artist but she’s not really tapping into it yet.
