June 19, 20241 yr What a brilliant match! Despite two lengthy injuries in added time, it was still ten best added time of the tournament. I didn’t want it to end. Great advert for keeping the 5-subs rule after Covid because the subs made it such a classic. They completely changed the game in Croatia’s favour in the 2nd half and then have Albania the impetus to go hell for leather at the end and get the equaliser.

June 19, 20241 yr Ahh I only caught bits of it but missed most of the action! Albania is my sweepstake so disappointed they are looking to exit so soon but kind of expected. :lol: They were least favourite to win with the bookies the last time I checked!

June 20, 20241 yr Hopefully they both play with the intention to win rather than chasing a draw that will probably get them through anyway as it seems England were this afternoon. Definitely feels like they need to look at either cutting the tournament back to 16 teams or extending to 32 so we can just have top 2 go through - I don't like the best third placed stuff (especially as it's going to affect the next extended world cup with this parasite of a format). I'd prefer cutting it back to 16 and keeping the world cup at 32.
