Was it getting all the way to US #1 more about the rabid BTS stans than Coldplay's own enduring popularity, sure. But it was a decent sized hit.

Love to see Lorde in the Spotify top 40 again (wasn't expecting it nearly that high considering it really took its time to show up on Apple and still isn't top 100 there even now). Interested to see if the label will have Lorde credited on it for the OCC chart or not. The original song is my least favourite track from 'BRAT' ngl so hoping Lorde will have improved it :kink:

 

'Pink Pony Club' casually making its Spotify debut over 4 years after it was in BJSC! Probably still my 2nd favourite song I've heard from Chappell so if it can take off a lot more now and get 'Red Wine Supernova' starred out that'd be great.

No, that was never a rule outside of people's imaginations on this website x (it'll just be whatever the label request the credits to be)

No, the OCC use the credits they're given by the labels effectively. Labels can request to change this credit in certain circumstances, and because the solo version's already been out a couple of weeks, it'll be just Charli credited unless the label specifically get it changed. Bear in mind that the original song will have been notching up some sales already so it'll have a listing in the OCC's system with a given credit already, regardless of whether it's charted or not.

Perrie didn't even impact day 1 not a good sign for single 2

they might get the lorde version credited like they did for sam fender on noah kahans homesick - all the other ones are solo credits despite charting due to remixed, but the sam fender name gave them a story so fingers crossed they do the same for charli/ lorde
