Bought the new CD for the fact I collect everything but a really lazy release - no bonus content and the same postcards in each edition.

"Good As Gone's chorus is so infectious that it bears enough repeating to become the only song to run past three minutes"

 

I'm pretty sure the writer doesn't mean that all the other tracks are so bad that it's good that they don't last 3 mins, but somehow it came out that way - to me at least lol

 

Overall it seems quite promising.

It’s rather weird to sell each with the same three cards. The USP is the different covers, which many have been asking for but they could have quite easily used 9 different images for the cards….the LCA video/ tour promo provides them with all they need.

Poor Orville Peck in that review.....

 

Seems like we could have a lot of repeat value in this album and 25 mins is perfect

 

Good As Gone I feel might be the song she releases a few days before the album or the track that is featured on NMF playlists next Friday

I was thinking the same. She sure is with the times, our girl. No wonder she’s been around and this successful for this long.

Yeah it’s a lazy release for that part - at least give us different cards in each version.

The three different covers is a nice option for collectors.

 

Let’s face it, many formats are never ever played.

Those asking about why the colabs are on this album.

 

They currently getting approx 250,000 worldwide stream on Spotify a day alone. Not massive numbers but they all help

 

If you think most Tension tracks where doing 2-3k a day until a recent pick up to 3-7k a day then its important. Plus there youtube video views and other streaming platforms streams all add up and can be used to promote the album.

 

Can't wait for next Friday.

I think they've just cobbled them together to pad out an album, which I sorta get although I can't imagine it'll sound cohesive.
